Too bland

I wish Amy's refried beans were just a tad more flavorful. I like the low sodium for health reasons, but I just didn't find the taste all that special. It's pretty noticeable that the salt is missing, but the beans don't have enough flavor on their own to sort of offset that problem. I'm going back to the standard type of black beans.

Works well on new diet

My doctor put me on a restricted salt diet, so I'm having to find a lot of products that I love that are low sodium. Amy's makes a fantastic refried beans, and I don't miss the salt, because the beans have such a full, nutty taste that has a strong flavor. I use them in a lot of mexican dishes, and for a special dip I make that my kids love. Great price for two, almost what I pay for one can at my grocery store.
