Good and healthy
This is a good alternative to regular BBQ sauce that is more healthy. It tastes good and I love to use it to make BBQ Cheeseburger Chili.
Don't forget to shake
I used only half bottle. Too much vinegar...then I realized I had forgotten to shake the bottle. Added a small amount of brown sugar and made it ok. Will try again because I feel it has a potential to be good
Delicious and Good Lower Sodium Option
One of our favorite meals is Homemade Barbeque Chicken Pizza. I've had to watch my sodium intake, and this sauce had 1/3 less than other brands I've tried. It isn't sodium free, but a perfect option for treating my family to pizza and movie night without quite so much worry.
I have tried many different BBQ sauces, from the traditional, to the regional. I really liked the Amy's Organic Original - it has a great flavor and was not too smoky and not too spicy - just the way I like it! It was perfect for my BBQ Chicken!
This is nothing to write home about. My guys prefer tomato based sauces, and I prefer mustard ones. They just tolerated this one. Expand your tastebuds, and make your own. I bought this one for ease, but will not do so again.
I've tried a bunch of bbq sauces in my time, and this was a recommendation by a buddy who says it was a good, all-natural bbq sauce that I should make part of my diet. I have to say, this bbq sauce had no kick to it. When I grilled with it, I couldn't taste the flavor in the meat, and it doesn't improve much when used directly out of the bottle. My wife has some of Annie's Homegrown crackers in the pantry, maybe the should stick to that, because this bbq sauce isn't strong enough to make any noise.

Authentic and flavorful
This is a real good bbq sauce, especially for the price Thrive is offering. I'm from Monroe, Louisiana, and we like to do up barbecue the right way down south. What I like about Annie's sauce is that it doesn't have artificial sweeteners and additives. Let's face it, most of the best sauces are loaded with sugar, but not this one. This is the real thing, natural and authentic and it tastes like a pure bit of heaven when I use it as a marinade or just as a substitute for ketchup on my burger.

My Fave BBQ sauce
This is my favorite bottled sauce, and my family likes it too. It's kind of like Arthur Bryant's sauce (but sweeter) if you are familiar with that Kansas City legend! It does have a bit of a vinegar taste to it, but it isn't overwhelming. That's what I like about it. It is slightly different than sweet, run of the mill, BBQ sauces; but it still is balanced with sweetness and a bit of smokiness.
My only suggestion is that I really wish Annie's would move away from industrial seed oils (soy, canola).
I like Amy's products but something tasted off with this bbq sauce. Synthetic-like and oddly sweet. Nothing like I've tasted before.
strong vinegar taste
Too heavy on the vinegar taste for us unfortunately - at least with the bottle we received - but it was still tolerable
everybody loves it!
I like the barbeque flavor of this sauce. This is what we use in all of our parties because everybody loves it! I purchase this at Thrive where they offer it at a wholesale price.
