Best almond butter on the planet
I had heard about Barney and now that I have tried it, I cant see eating gritty almond butter again. I am a fan for life!
I'm on my third jar. I use this in all sorts of recipes.
This is one of the few almond butters out there that uses blanched almonds (husks removed). That gives it a smoother, richer consistency, great flavor, and makes it easier on your digestion. The removed almond bran may have some health benefits, but only in moderation, and only if your digestion and constitution is really strong and tolerates it well. If you are an almond butter fiend, and you want something light and easy to absorb, this is the stuff (Note: it does have some added cane sugar, but not a whole lot).
One of the best crunchy almond butters
I love this Almond Butter. I have tried it many times now and it is a part of every order I place with Thrive. I just saw an 8 oz jar of the very same Almond Butter at my local grocery store for $13.99. Thank you Thrive Market!
Love the Taste!!
I have tried several different almond butters, and I like this one the best. I have a tendency to like less rich/oily nut butters and this one meets that criterion.
Crunchy almond butter
Awesome crunchiness lol
Good flavor. Love it
Too chalky for me
I seem to be in the minority on my thoughts of this product, but it was way too chalky for me. My jar seemed to have no oil in it - it wan't spreadable at all. I even tried warming up the jar slightly by placing it in a bowl of warm water for about an hour, but it didn't help. Finally I solved the problem by dumping all the contents into a mixing bowl, adding coconut oil, and mixing it together with a hand mixer. After that it was fine, but I wouldn't buy it again.
Almond butter, smooth and crunchy
Both the smooth and crunchy are excellent. They are flavorful and well mixed. This brand is more reasonable than some with no loss of flavor. I always buy this brand.
I would not buy again
Has sugar and other products I would not add to my nut butter.
Barney Butter Crunchy Almond Butter
I'd never had almond butter before, but I just loved this one. I had it on celery and it was scrumptious! Can't wait to try it on bread with a little raspberry jam or on toast.
It's almond butter
Just ok. I prefer the Trader Joe's version. I'll try Justin's next time since I've never had it.
This is the best nutbutter i have tasted. I have made my own to omit the sugar but this is so smooth and lots of big almond chunks, its a great mini snack. Just wish there was no sugar.
This Almond Butter is THE BEST! I love the smooth texture and the crunch of the almonds. Perfection!

I saw this at Home Goods and thought I would give it a try. This is ABSOLUTELY the best almond butter I have ever eaten. I would like to find it closer to home here in Naperville, IL.. but am happy to know I can at least purchase this amazint product on line. Keep up the great and delicious work!

Good texture and taste!
Best crunchy AB
Tastiest AB on the planet! I love the crunchy best. The blanched almonds make all the difference. I wish Thrive would carry the "Barney Butter Bare" which has no added sugar, though.
Why added sugar?
I tried this because I got it free from Thrive. (Which was very generous!) I don't understand why so many companies put sugar in their products. If I want it sweeter I'll do it myself. It does taste good but do I need my almond butter to be sweet? I'll go back to my unsweetened brand.
Barney butter almond crunchy -- so good I just bought 12 don't want to run out
Scrumptious!!!!!! Enough said!!!!
Great stuff...habit forming.
Tastes just like peanut butter! Love the crunch.
I love this!
This is one of my favorite foods. It has added sugar, but it tastes soo good!
Best almond butter! Oil does not separate so you don't have the messy stirring that other brands require. Love that they have a chunky almond butter option.
This brand is not as dry as what I had been puchasing from the store. It's no stir and tastes great.
Best Almond Butter
I enjoy the flavor and texture of this best amongst all other popular name brands I've tried. It like my favorite peanut butter but almond. :)
Delicious and economical

Second to None Almond Butter Spread
I chose to give my child healthy alternatives early in his life. I eat well, so why shouldn't he? Barney Butter Crunchy Almond Butter is perfect for my family. It is guaranteed to be peanut free, which is very important to me. We all love this peanut butter alternative and I keep an extra on hand at all times!

Two of my four children have peanut allergies, but love PBJ's. This guaranteed peanut free almond butter saves the day. It tastes great and all the kids love it. I balked at the price a little, but this product is worth the small extra to keep my kids happy and safe.

Does almond butter really need sugar?
I think my Review Title says it all.
The sugar makes it addictive. Other brands satisfy better w/o the added sugar high.

Better than Jiffy peanut butter
I've switched over from peanut butter to organic almond butter, just because I want the health benefits that comes from raw all natural ingredients like this butter is made from.
The crunchy part is also great as my favorite peanut butter is the crunchy kind. I find almond butter has a less distinct taste than peanut butter, but I like the mildness. This is also low salt and low sugar. I eat it by the teaspoon or spread it on whole wheat bread.

Barney Butter Is Good
I've been a long-time enjoyer of the smooth variety of this, but a recipe I was trying called for the crunchy version. Decided to try it on a sandwich too, and I enjoy this stuff just as the smooth. It has the right amount of crunch to it. There are crunchy spots without having so much crunch that it distracts from the taste. I'll probably be keeping both jars around from now on.
This Is the best crunchy almond butter I have ever tasted. While this is more than I would typically pay for almond butter-this is way better than others I've tried so it is well worth the extra few dollars.
Growing up I had to go without peanut butter because I am allergic and most nut butter brands can't guarantee they are peanut free due to manufacturing reasons. So when I found this almond butter I had to get it. I am not sorry I did either. It is delicious! I make butter and jelly sandwiches and sometimes even eat it by the spoonful. This is my favorite almond butter of all time! I love that it is crunchy, many brands don't offer that and I really enjoy a little crunch in my nut butters. Can we say Cruncha Muncha, Almonds on my tongue?
