Reviews For Organic Coconut Palm Nectar - Amber

Really a great product
Just the right amount of sweetness that you need without all the harmful effects that artificial sweeteners have(stay away from them very bad for your body). This Nectar is great for teas (Ice or hot) and for just a little sweetness for other foods you might want to sweeten up a bit, it is just right!
Delicious and aromatic
Not all coconut syrups are same, just like coconut sugar crystals. This nectar is better than most I have tried. My favorite use for it: a glaze for BBQ meat in conjunction w/ other seasonings to give it that special sweet touch.
Better Than Maple Syrup - Low Glycemic
I'm a Type 1 diabetic treating without insulin on an extremely strict diet, so this product is such a gem for someone very limited on sweeteners. I use this for avocado pudding (along with the raw cacaos you can find at Thrive, too), paleo pancakes and paleo zucchini bread. It's just an even swap where you'd normally use maple syrup. Low glycemic and delicious!
It sort of reminds me of maple syrup. Although it contains a lot less sugar per serving. So far I've only used it to sweeten my plain yogurt but I can see how versatile this nectar is. I would definitely repurchase.

Organic Coconut Palm Nectar
Have used this in cooking instead of other liquid sweeteners. Works well. My grandson used it on his pancakes. He gave it 2 thumbs up!
Better than Yacon
I like the properties of Yacon syrup, but not a huge fan of flavor. This nectar to me is very similar to Yacon in benefits but tastes much, much better. I use it in place of yacon on a daily basis anymore. Great stuff.
This thick and sweet coconut palm nectar is incredibly dense, both in consistency and in nutrition. I really like it in my coffee and if you mix it with some vinegar or wine it makes a great marinade for meat. (just add seasoning after!) I will definitely buy again.
Big Tree Farms, Coconut Nectar Amber
Just received this and am pleasantly surprised by the rich flavor. It reminds me of the Dark Karo syrup from my youth. This nectar mixes beautifully with Olive oil and touch of vinegar for a sweet and sour spring roll dip.
I love this coconut nectar. I can't believe it's low glycemic...it's SO sweet.

I tried this on a whim, and was very pleased with the taste. Previously my main sweetener was Coconut Secret's coconut nectar. I liked that well enough, but after trying Big Tree Farm's version, I'm sticking with them.
