Meal prep

I bought a few packs to use in the freezer for making smoothies. I prep them on Sunday so I can just dump the smoothie ingredients in the blender. Saves a ton of time. These have a really tight seal and they save us from buying and throwing out plastic bags.

I love these

I am all about reusable items and reducing the need for plastic and ziplocs. I first purchased these bags on amazon, but had I known Thrive sold it, I would have purchased them here first (it's also cheaper here on Thrive).

So far I love these. I've had them for about a month now and am happy. I loved them so much that as soon as I found them here on Thrive, I purchased more. The large ones can fit a sandwich and the small ones are like the little snack bags. I will have to say that the full sizes of the bags (including seam) are a little bigger than ziploc bags, but hasn't really been that big of an issue. I have a 2nd grader and still uses the smaller lunch bags, so the size of the bags do take up more space.

Washing: Depending on what I fill it with, I rinse it with water or hand wash it with soap and hang it upside down or over a cup to thoroughly dry (or wipe it with a towel if I can't wait for it to air dry). You can't turn it inside out to clean (you can, but is annoying and will cause it to wrinkle).

My kids mainly use stainless steel containers and glass (our drinking straws are glass too although we only use those at home) and now I can add this to our plastic free lives.

love them

Love these for husband and kid lunches and they clean up easily!

Save the Planet...

Splendid way to save on ziplocks......time saver.... and love that it's reusable!!!!!

So far not bad

The bags were sturdier and bigger than expected but it can be difficult getting things out of them. Protein powder also collects in the ziplock channels and prevents them from resealing. I like saving the world from more plastic waste and me from more BPA exposure but we'll see how long they hold up. Too soon to tell.

Would Buy Again

I've owned a few brands of reusable zipper bags. I've only used the smaller ones for snacks - carrots and Terra chips - up to this point, but I've found they are thick and sturdy, haven't creased like other brands, and they seem to stay closed once zipped. They're a little hard to get dry because they're so thick they won't stand up on they're own (I place them over a baby bottle). Overall, I'd buy again, but I gave 4 stars because they scratch easily (on the inside) when cleaning - be sure to use a soft dish cloth and avoid sponges with scrubbers.

Well Made

Before I got these I bought freezer bags because I could wash and reuse them many times before throwing them away. These are great, they will last for a very long time, they are sturdy, and zip tight. They had an odor when I first opened them so I washed them in water and baking soda then rinsed in vinegar water and dried them, it took about a week for the odor to go away completely.

These are better in theory. save your $

I wanted to like these. I'm all about being green. my issue is that they are annoying to clean. and even more annoying to figure out how to dry them. I found myself setting them open & upside down on top of serving spoons. I do not recommend.

Love these!!

We have been using reusable baggies for our lunches and these have been so nice! Unlike LunchSkins, they don't get dyed from fruit or dirty. They wash easily and close tightly. We love them!! I can definitely see us enjoying these bags for a long time. Also, we take our lunches every day so we use them a lot and they haven't shown signs of damage in the months we've had them.

Love them!

These bags are heavy duty yet soft. So far I have used them for storing in the refrigerator. Using these bags has already cut my ziplock bag consumption in half. I intend get get more. My goal is to totally replace regular ziplock bags.

- Janet

Great product

I love these! I do wish the zipper wasn't so tough to get sealed but I use them all the time.

- Stephanie

Back for more!

I love these reusable bags. They are thick and feel very sturdy. The rounded corners on the bottom make them super easy to clean. And the zippers are pretty solid. No leaks yet.

- Tobi

Great for travel.

I always have snacks in glass jars. These make bring your own treats while traveling light and easy.

Good for the environment!

I LOVE these lunch baggies! They are good for the environment, easy to clean, roomy, and literally the perfect size! We were wasting 4-5 zip lock baggies a DAY and now we don't waste any! Love, love, love these bags!

- Lyncal

so-so

Sturdy and thick
fairly easy to open (may affect seal, I'm not sure yet)
Not as clear/see-through as I would like

- Jennifer

Great product

I don't like using plastic bags so this was a great alternative for snacks and sandwiches. The sandwich size is a little bulky for my lunchbox but I make it work. They are a little more difficult to clean and dry but that shouldn't be a deterrent.

Good

A little hard to clean - but very good

reusable lunch bags

Great idea. Love not using tons of plastic bags

- millie

sturdy!

These have a great double zip closure and are much thicker and heavier weight material than I anticipated. I love using them and washing them each day rather than using disposable bags. So useful and great quality.

- Stella

Durable

I love that these are BPA free and thick plastic. I also like them better then reusable bags that zipper or Velcro shut because these have a secure closure so good doesn't get stall or leak.

- Alison

Great bags!

I've used some reusable bags in the past but I wasn't a big fan of them but I LOVE these bags. They are see through which is nice, they are a durable material and they zip up perfectly.
