Celestial Seasonings’ History
The first Celestial Seasonings tea was brewed from hand-picked wild herbs from the Rocky Mountains in 1969. Mo Seigel, the company’s founder, then proceeded to introduce new teas until Mo’s 36 and Mo’s 24 herbal teas grew to have such a following that it defined the category.
Today, Celestial Seasonings has expanded to include green, chai, rooibos, wellness, and cold-brew teas with ingredients sourced from more than 35 countries.
