Château de Lafaurie-Monbadon
Château de Monbadon is one of the last remaining examples of medieval military architecture in Gironde. At the beginning of the Hundred Years’ War, King Edward III of England strengthened the estate as an outpost to watch over the Isle and Dordogne valleys. The château has remained in the same family since 1602, nestled in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux region. Think of it like an “off-Broadway” hidden gem offering extraordinary value, especially during warm and dry vintages.
