In 2014, founder Kelley D'Angelo decided to avoid grains for 30 days. The health improvements she experienced kept her committed, but with one caveat: she missed her morning bowl of cereal. D’Angelo took to her kitchen to develop grain-free granola that became a hit at local farmers’ markets, and a brand was born. Lake Ellen Farm is nestled in Southern California’s Ojai Valley, where vegetables and herbs grow in abundance year-round.
