I've ordered once from the well known nuts online company, had to throw out everything because of little sand inside, yukky disgusting, no matter how well I rinsed, the sand was still there ... \n Just like you should rinse your rice well before cooking so it isn't sticky, quinoa needs to be cleaned and rinsed well before cooking too. It's usually packaged fairly dirty, and can often have little stones in it. That doesn't make it any less healthy or delicious though just makes it take a little longer to prepare.
\r\nYou can use quinoa as a side dish, but it is also great in salads, in soup, and you can come up with ideas all your own! <\/p>\n
