\n I've started buying two of these every month and make a soup of them, adding tomato pasta sauce and lots of organic veggies, like mixed frozen veggies, purple potatoes, onions, zucchini and frozen broccoli. \n Lentil beans aren't my favorite, but even despite that, these beans from Westbrae taste a whole lot better than the Lentils I'm used to. My usual lentils have a pretty bland flavor that makes them, well, not very exciting to eat to say the least. The sodium is totally reasonable while the protein and fiber, like most beans, is really high. It's a good treat, and I love to munch on it at the end of the night when I feel like I haven't been eating enough nutritious food throughout the day.

\n As someone cutting sodium out of their diet for health reasons I find that these still seem to have too much salt in them for my taste buds. Other than that they are a good brand and a good food. I still eat them sometimes, I just make sure that they are in something bigger, like a soup or some sort of dish where the sodium blends with the rest making the content seem less.

\n I read somewhere that lentil are a great source of protein. My family and I have been trying to cut back on our meat intake so we have been adding more beans and lentils to our diet. These lentils are very tasty and work great in many dishes. We love to make lentil soups with them.
