Don't waste your money!!!!

This is the worst crust I have ever had! Unfortunately,I bought two boxes of this trash! I have been eating GF and DF for years now, and I usually make my own crust. I decided to try this because it seemed likke it would be faster. The flavor of this crist is not bad at all, but the texture ruins the whole crust. I Followed the directions but the crust wasn't cooked all the way through. I cooked it forever in hopes of the crust cooking through and it still came out CHEWY/GUMMY! This is the first and last time I will be buying this crust. Please, dont waste your money!

Incredibly good

I'm not a vegan, so I don't mind that this recipe calls for eggs, cheese and milk. It's stated as GLUTEN free, not anything else. I absolutely love this pizza crust, because it's fun to make, and when the directions are followed properly, comes out consistently easy to shape. I not only use this crust for pizza, but I roll it very flat, brush on olive oil and my choice of herbs and spices to make a fantastic flatbread. So versatile and delicious!

Awful alternative pizza crust

For all the good ratings, we were stunned at how bad this "crust" was! It was leaden, dense and nothing like crust! We even put some shredded cheese on the crust before baking so that the toppings and sauce wouldn't make it too soggy. I don't even know how to describe it, except pretty awful! I would take a cauliflower crust any day over this sodden mess. If there were a zero star or a 1 minus, that's the rating this product would get.

The crispiness of the crust was fantastic....but the middle is stretchy and chewy - almost like a cheesy bread. But it did not taste like a cheesy bread. I couldn't take the rubbery texture. I threw it away after one piece. I was disappointed because the crunchy parts were fantastic!

Great taste, chewy

I followed the instructions and bake the crust for 7 minutes before adding toppings but it looks like it needed more time to bake after it was done. I even put the pizza back in for a little bit but still came out looking the same. It's a bit chewy but I liked it and enjoyed the taste. I'm not a gluten free person so I don't know if this is what the consistency should have been anyways. I would buy again as I really enjoyed the flavor and even the consistency

My daughter can't eat eggs, so I used an egg substitute. It was so chewy it was like rubber. We couldn't even cut through it to eat it. Not sure if it is because of the egg substitute or what. If you need a gluten free and egg free variation this is not it.

Our favorite GF pizza crust.

One of our favorite GF pizza crust mixes. I have used this for years and even served to company several times. The flavor is excellent! The texture is tricky to get right though and I have tried pre-baking and not pre-baking but still working on how to better it. Pre-baked it was too tough and not pre-baked it is somewhat undercooked (under the toppings) although the outside crust is great that way. Maybe I will try pre-baking just for a few mintutes. It does get pretty tough when it cools down so best fresh out of the oven. Best to reheat pizza is on low in a frying pan with a lid until warmed through. Learned this from a chef and tastes just like fresh baked this way!

LOVE THIS!!

This crust was so easy to make, it got a little sticky at the end to work with but otherwise I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it. The best part for dietary reasons me was this mix actually was yeast-FREE which most all mixes contain bakers yeast in some form. Absolutely delicious flavor too! I did put cheese in it, but I don't think you need a full cup. Definitely purchasing again.

Yum

So yummy. We are slowly coming off of all things wheat. The big deal is pizza. Got it yesterday and made it today. I did not make enough. I did not have the sticky problem, I coated the rolling pin and board with banana flour. I made a thin crust so I think it was more than 14 inches. Topped with Italian sausage and cheese. When I make this I'm going to have to make 2 at a time.

My New GF Favorite!

I had to take the time to rate and review this awesome pizza crust! We just tried it tonight and I hope to never use anything else ever again. It's fantastic as far as gluten free pizza crusts go. It was crisp on the edges, nice and chewy inside, and so easy to mix together and roll out. Honestly, it was far easier than regular flour pizza dough where the gluten keeps pulling the dough back from the edge of the pizza pan. With this crust I had it rolled out in no time. I did take the time to pre-bake it for 7 minutes before adding the toppings and finishing baking. I also put a little EVOO in the pizza pan which may have added to the crispy edges on the crust. The flavor is fantastic. It smelled so amazing while it was pre-baking. I love this crust in every way!

The worst dough I have ever touched

Not even kidding, a shed a tear over making pizza with this dough. IT STUCK TO EVERYTHING. I followed the instructions and I got a ball of sticky dough that I could hardly knead, let alone spread in a pan. It stuck to my hands, which wasted SO much of it. It stuck to the bowl, the rolling pin (I was running out of options), the handles of the step stool. So now I decide to add some flour, which completely defeats the point of gluten free. Which helped a lot, actually. Maybe suggest using some sort of Gluten Free flour with this? Moving forward, I greased my pizza tin, put it in the over - smells & is looking great. The entire thing STUCK TO THE PAN. I made a brussel sprout, squash, fig, balsamic pizza... that I could only eat the outside crust of. SUCH A WASTE!!!!!!!!!! The only reason this isn't getting 1 star is because the crust that I did it was in fact, delicious.

This is delicious! First Pizza I have eaten in 5 years as GF that tastes like amazing pizza! I substituted grated 18 month Parmesan for the sharp cheese and used coco/almond milk. Rolled thin and prebaked crust 7 minutes on pizza stone, topped with Thrive pasta sauce, mozzarella and lovely pizza toppings. I am in heaven. Never thought I would enjoy pizza again.

fantastic pizza dough

This pizza crust mix is great. It is easy to make, doesn't rebound when you try to stretch it on the pan. We baked it before putting the toppings on, which I would suggest. This mix is not salty, which is super hard to find in prepared mixes. Who needs all that extra salt when there is cheese? :) Anyway, give this mix a try, you won't be disappointed.

Best Gluten Free Crust

I have tried so many gluten free pizza crusts, it and s so hard that find a good pizza crust that is grain free and still has good texture. This crust has a good doughy texture and it is delicious! I don't do dairy, so I added nutritional yeast and used coconut milk.

Yum!

This product brings relief after many years of having to make everything from scratch. It delivers on ease of use, texture (if you like moist and slightly chewy), and flavour (really it is quite clean lending itself well to any topping). Normally when I want cassava anything I have to peel wash, grate and then cook. I am so happy to have an easier alternative.

Yeast AND Gluten Free

In addition to a gluten-free diet, I am required to adhere to a yeast-free diet as well. I have been mourning the loss of pizza until I came across Chebe's. I was so happy to find a pizza crust that fit my needs and tasted good (taste gets 3.5/5)!

Not a cracker

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 6 months ago, and have been in a state of pizza-mourning ever since. Every GF pizza crusts I've tried has been hard and thin, like eating pizza toppings on a really crunchy cracker. This actually tasted like pizza. It was a little bit chewy, but the dough actually puffs up in the pan while cooking and has a good flavor. I was hesitant to add sharp cheese to the mix, but it added some flavor to the crust. I did add some extra Italian seasoning to the mix and brushed the crust with garlic-olive oil before topping for extra flavor. I also found I had to bake a little longer than state to keep it from getting too soggy in the middle (but that could have been from the extra oil). Overall, I am really happy with this crust and the price here is $2.00 less than my local grocery store. Will be ordering this again.

Favorite GF Crust

Most gluten free crusts taste like cardboard. This one is has a mild flavor, enhanced by adding cheese (I shredded some parmesan) and is a slightly chewy in a good way.

Sponge bread

Tasty and easy to make

I'm not on a gluten-free diet, but figured I'd give this crust a try and loved it. The mix itself has yummy herbs in it, and the instructions call for the addition of eggs, milk and cheese, so the end product has a lot more flavor and protein going on than a regular wheat pizza dough, even the whole wheat ones. It also crisps up really well on the pizza stone if you pre-bake it a bit. Will definitely be buying this again!

Best GF pizza crust ever...

I love this and will never ever use another pizza crust. My kids like it too, especially when I add nutritional yeast to the dough before baking. It is so easy to mix up (though the tapioca flour is very dusty), and I can get a pizza done in less than 30 minutes! Faster than delivery!!

Great GF Pizza

If you're GF, you know it can be hard to find good, affordable pizza. This is the solution. The crust is really easy to make; just mix up the ingredients, roll out on a baking tray or pizza stone, top with sauce, cheese and whatever else you may want, and throw it in the oven. You'll have a delicious pizza in the same or less time than delivery, at a much lower price. If you like your pizza a little crunchier, I would suggest putting the crust in the oven for a few minutes before putting the sauce and toppings on. Enjoy!

Chebe gluten free pizza crust

I've tried every frozen gf pizza, crust mix, cauliflower crust, and gf fresh dough balls and settled on never having pizza again because nothing was like traditional wheat pizza crust. The crusts would always get soggy or have strange tastes/aftertaste. This crust is awesome! It was easy to make and cook. The pizza was awesome hot and still really good the next day. I used shredded mozzarella in the mix, avocado oil, and half and half. I'm definitely ordering this mix again!!
