These are great. I love how companies are listening to consumers, who want safer products.

Easy and non toxic

I feel great about letting my littles finger paint with this stuff. If you want it thicker mix with a little yogurt.

Some worked, some didn't work. The only good part is they are safe for my child.

Fun, safe

My grandkids enjoy this product. It's safe to use, but colors are not vibrant.

More trouble than it's worth

I bought this looking for an eco-friendly way to finger paint with the kids. I just don't want to have to mix it myself. That one extra step makes me not want to use it during arts and crafts time.

Yuck

The colors are weak, and the texture is bad. They flake off like dry sand when dried. Happy they’re eco friendly but you might as well just use mud.

Threw them away

Waste of money. We tried these out twice and they barely have any color, nor are they a very paint-like consistency. My 3 year old agreed they were not satisfying enough to fool with. We threw the rest away. Better off making our own plant-based dyes and mixing them with yogurt for finger paint.

Super clean

No pun intended. It does make a “clean” mess. Everything is available through nature. Plus the ability to use only as little or as much as you need. Perfect

best eco paint I've found so far

I like that this is non-toxic, but I feel that when I follow the directions to make the paint, the paint then comes out more watery than I would like. When my kids paint with it, it is more sheer than opaque.

Dryed up

The colors aren’t very vibrant, and when they dry up they go back to a powder form and get crusty. Good for smaller kids, maybe below 4, because there are very few ingredient and it’s kind of messy. Also we added too much water initially.

Yay for Eco Paint

I love this finer paint and so does my toddler. I now don't have to freak out if he gets his paint on his skin. Thanks ecokids.

Ok, not great

I love that these are non-toxic and eco friendly. I wish these qualities wouldn't come at the expense of vibrant color and paint consistency. My son is 2 and will draw on his easel and use sidewalk chalk for an hour or more at a time. He was initially so excited about these paints and was thrilled to watch me mix them together. The color and consistency seemed ok in the mixing bowls, but as soon as he tried to paint on the paper they dried up quickly and the color dulled. The paint was gritty and flaked off the page not too long after it made contact. I think these would be great sensory play and intro to paint for a baby 8-10 months-- but for a toddler who wants to draw trucks with his fingers, these didn't do the trick and he lost interest fast.

Perfect for small children

Both my 4 year old and my 17 month old really enjoyed painting with these. I love the colors, they are very natural and "earthy". It only took me a minute to blend them , and I think next time I will have my 4 year old help. I only used a tablespoon of each color, and it made plenty of paint for each kiddo to make two paintings( plus my daughter colored her hands, arms, and high chair tray), and there was still some left over. This will last us a long time!

Great!

I love that this comes as a mix so you can use as much or as little as needed, and make new colors. Great quality and my kids love it! Going to order more for my mothers preschool class!!!!

Easy to clean. Easy to use. Lots of fun. It's a bit gritty. The colors are a bit dull. No chemically smell. It comes as a powder you mix with water.
