\n I\u2019ve been using garbanzo bean flour for some time now \u2014 mostly to make socca, a chickpea flatbread. This is seriously the BEST flour I\u2019ve tried. Amazing texture and flavor. <\/p>\n

\n I tested this out in vegan piecrust, pizza crust, and vegan chocolate chip cookies, and it was delicious in all. It is great to have an option for grain-free baking, and the additional perk that it is sprouted makes this flour even healthier and easier to digest. <\/p>\n

\n I bought two cook books using Garbanzo flour because I was so impressed with farinata. I am so pleased with the pleasant mild taste and how easy it is to cook with garbanzo flour. It is very forgiving if you don't do something exactly right, it is gluten-free and I think everything else that is gluten-free is not worth eating. I am vegan and I am so happy I discovered this flour. America is the only country in the world that had to discover this treasure. Other countries have treasured it for hundreds of years. <\/p>\n

Sourdough bread<\/h3>\n

\n Used this with wheat flour, white flour, and my sourdough starter to add more protein and fiber to my bread. It really enhanced the crumb of my bread too! Wasn't sure if it would work with the microbes and wild yeast but it did! I of course haven't tried making bread by itself with it but it does enhance the nutrient of my bread so that's good for me! <\/p>\n

\n This is not a bad Chickpea flour, however it is manufactured in a shared facility with wheat and tree nuts. I do not mind the tree nuts, but I'm trying to avoid gluten altogether. Even if it's only a one in a million chance of it becoming contaminated, I wouldn't buy this again. If I had celiac disease this would be a definate no-no. <\/p>\n

\n I have really enjoyed this sprouted garbanzo flour. It has a slightly different and more delicate\/softer texture than another brand I was using and I like it much better. I use it to make savory pancakes and it's super filling. <\/p>\n
