Everyday Staple

This Silken Tofu is fantastic for adding creamy goodness to everything without using cream. I use it for a creamy "Ranch" dressing that's vegan and creamy pie fillings and creamy soup bases that are vegan. It's very blendable. If you're whole food plant based, I recommend this over the refrigerated versions in your blended recipes. Plus, it doesn't take up room in my refrigerator.

Handy pantry item

These are great shelf stable items to have around. I use this for tofu scrambles and sometimes for desserts. It makes a great chocolate pudding when you need an easy dessert that you can prepare ahead and have ready in the fridge. The Millenium Cookbook has a recipe we enjoy for a cake called chocolate almond midnight that turns out quite impressive without too much effort, its a real showstopper when garnished with maple praline slivered almonds and rasberries

Package...

I love tofu. This packaging allow the tofu to stay in the pantry for a while - until you need it. It is very silky and smooth. It falls apart very easily so be careful when you're cutting the packaging. Usually I squeeze the box a bit before I cut the whole box open, such that the tofu has less bits/pieces stuck to the box.

I love cooking with this Silken Tofu.

I love cooking with this Silken Tofu, it has a meaty feel and good taste. The shelf stable package is perfect to keep on hand. Thank you Thrive Market for making it available to buy per each and not in an expensive case of 12. I can buy just one box, or multiple boxes to stock up.

Good product, but prefer firmer tofu

I liked this silken tofu, and have used it in the past. Good for scrambling, but if I need firmer for slicing/dicing and using in my stir fry dishes, I buy firmer versions of tofu.

Tofu

I am new to the world of tofu and did not do my research before buying this kind! It is very very soft, like if you mixed jello and pudding sort of thing! But, i still made it kind of work for frying, but it was much better when i chopped it up and put it in fried rice or chopped in scrammbled eggs- since all it wanted to do was fall apart, it was ok!

But, now i know there are different types of tofu for different recipes!

This one is still good, just make sure its the kind you need!

I eat a lot of tofu so a lot of times I don't really differentiate between tofu brands. This one had a nice texture, and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't say its the best tofu I've ever had but still a good buy!
