Really works!

It's simple to use - you just take the security seal off and flip the cap up and in about 30 minutes, if you had fruit flies, they have found their eternal home in the Flypunch. You can smell the vinegary smell if you get right over the bottle, but otherwise, the smell is not going to bother you. Happy with this purchase!

Needs a better container

I'm sure the fruit fly trap works, unfortunately the container leaves a lot to be desired. I was expecting something with, perhaps, a weighted bottom and/or a funnel style top that would entice the pesky critters to their doom and not be a spill risk. When I removed the lid, there was no funnel and, sadly, no weighted base. It did manage to drown a few fruit flies, but was knocked over on the countertop resulting in a sticky mess.

It is OK

I had a problem with fruit flies this summer and had made a homemade solution of apple cider vinegar, dish soap and water. It worked OK, but when I saw this, I thought I'd try it. When it arrived and I read the ingredients, it was just like my homemade and actually didn't work as well. I will just make my own and save some money in the future.

We didn't have a huge fruit fly problem but I wanted to take care of the few pesky flies hanging around the fruit basket. This worked great! It took about 2 weeks to get all of them but it's well worth it as I love to avoid harsh chemical products.

Works for Me!

Read other comments and would've been so bummed if it hadn't worked. But so far I've had great success. Put the opened jar near where the concentration of fruit flies are and they are dying rapidly. It's only been a few days, so nothing to contribute for how long it will last. But it did start working right away. Thanks!!!

Love other Aunt Fannie's cleaners and have a huge fruit fly problem. This cleared them all up within a few days. Not sure what's not working for the others who posted reviews, but I can say that it worked better than any home remedy for me!

Works. And lasts longer than I thought

I bought 2 of these last year and am still using them now even though only about a third of the bottle is left in each. Just started composting so have seen more fruit flies in my house near the compost collection bucket. I love checking the bottle throughout the day and seeing those jerks dead at the bottom or floating on top. Just ordered 2 more bottles of fly punch and am cleaning out the compost bucket every day to prevent more flies.

Didn't punch my flies

I was having trouble with fruit flies all over celery I was trying to root, opened the jar and . . . nothing. Not one fruit fly went into the punch, they just scattered all over my kitchen. A glass of red wine drew more, but I didn't want to waste it.

I keep this bottle tucked behind my fruit basket and with the lid open and bit (not snapped shut). After a few weeks I peaked inside and had about 20 in there. I never really saw them flying about. This really worked. Of course it smells like vinegar. But I just keeped it tucked back there

Down with the fruit flies!

This stuff works!! I went on vacation and accidentally left bananas out on my kitchen counter. When I returned, it was officially a fruit fly infestation. After wasting my time with DIY apple cider vinegar traps, I decided to put Aunt Fannie to the test.

I opened my jar of FlyPunch and within a few hours, I noticed fruit flies beginning to swarm around the lid. I must say, there is something grotesquely satisfying about watching them march to their death. Whatever is in it must be like fruit fly crack. I've now had it out for 5 days and there are dozens of bodies in the jar! Will be buying more!

Sayonara, fruit flies

I'm glad I waited to write a review, because it took a few days for the fruit flies to start diving in, but when I came down to the kitchen in the morning 3 days after opening my bottle there was nary a fruit fly to be seen. Sure enough, the bottle was full of bodies! It must have had something to do with their life cycle and when they are attracted to the smell of the FlyPunch, that's the only thing I can think of. Regardless, I am happy and my kitchen is now fruit fly free :)

This works extremely well and pretty instantly. You'll notice a strong smell when the bottle is first opened but it goes away after a day. Also the bottle says it lasts two weeks before needing replacement, but I've had mine for close to a month and it's still catching fruit flies.
