Trick: sometimes you need a little more or less water that directions say, enough to incorporate dough but not overly wet. then role out the dough between parchment papers, transfer and bake for 10-15 minutes then add toppings and warm\/melt cheese. crust that stays together and tastes amazing. <\/p>\n

\n I've missed pizza so much being on the paleo plan, so was excited to make this. It was good, I just was surprised by the serving size after making it. It makes two 8-inch pizzas, and claims to have 12 servings. But 8-inches is somewhere between a "personal pizza" size and a small (and a small pizza is usually a meal for 2-3 people). So I'd say more accurately there's 4-6 real servings per package, not 12. But on the positive side, it was so good I ate half of a (small) pizza in one sitting! <\/p>\n

\n I love the flavor of this pizza crust, and especially love that it's grain free. Like other alternative-based pizza crusts, this has it's own unique texture. If you go into it expecting a crust like a normal yeast dough, you'll be disappointed. For preparation, I recommend adding two tbsp of water at a time and stirring in between. The first time I made this, I added all 6 tbsp at once, and it ended up being soupy. I had to add almond flour to bring it back to the right consistency. The last time I made it, the 6 tbsp were perfect, but I stirred in between each one. I think sometimes the boxes aren't consistent, so the best approach is to add the liquid gradually. <\/p>\n

\n My husband and I tried this crust tonight, side by side with the Fat Head pizza crust. I thought he'd like this crust better, because it's thicker, and I'd like the other because it's thinner. Turned out the opposite. This crust is flavorful and very easy to make. Unlike the Fat Head crust, I wouldn't be concerned with making it ahead and freezing for a quick meal. Very delicious. \n Love that I have found a filling, tasty, and healthy crust. My house is certainly not gluten free, but we are very mindful of ingredients and this pizza crust has nothing but good stuff. It also taste and smells excellent, and complements both red and white pizzas perfectly. The garlic flavor is so welcome, as many 'healthy' pizza crusts taste so bland. Some reviews say it's slightly 'doughy' however mine always comes out very crisp. Probably depends on the oven, so try a box for yourself and see how it works for you :) <\/p>\n

Totally took care of my pizza craving and my husband approved as well! One reviewer said it was not done in the center and used a pizza stone. I would not recommend a stone. I used a greased metal cookie sheet and it cooked up perfectly. Even had a nice crispy edge to hold on to. I'm about to buy 2 more! <\/p>\n

The box says to cook it for 5 minutes before adding toppings, then another 15-20 minutes. In addition, if you ignore the pizza dough instructions and put in 4 eggs and 1\/4 cup of your favorite oil, and bake it in a bread pan, you get a nice savory bread that is more interesting than just the regular almond flour bread. Highly recommended <\/p>\n
