Definitely Worth Buying!
This was better than I thought it would be. I was very nervous about trying it. What helped was that I inserted it after thoroughly reading the instructions before my period. Just to try it out. That test run really took much of the mystery and nervousness away. I just used it last week for my first period, and WOW, WOW, WOW! Overall I thought the whole process was much tidier than before. I LOVE only having to "change" it twice a day. And it's super comfortable. I'm really amazed at how much I really liked using this product. I TOTALLY recommend it!
Finally broke down and bought this product about two months ago after atleast a year of consideration. Thus far it has been awesome and I am kicking myself for not trying it out sooner. I am sure due to the huge expense for organic tampons that I could have easily paid for a weekend vacation with the savings. As far as cleanliness goes I really don't think it is much different than inserting a tampon without and applicator. I would suggest carrying some type of wet wipe for use in public restrooms or aim for the family restroom. Other than that I can't say enough good things about it.
Better than expected!
Bought this for my sister after buying one for myself. Never thought The diva cup would be cleaner and easier than tampons but now I can't imagine using anything other than a diva cup. It makes life much easier since you can wear it up to 12 hours. The price on Thrive is much cheaper than I've seen anywhere else!
I would recommend this product to every female. It was easy to use and I didn't feel anything when using it. The only downside is using it in a public restroom with no sink in the stall. I would suggest to get ph balanced wipes in order to clean it off when you don't have access to a sink. All around a well executed and though out product. Good job! :)
I was excited to try the Diva Cup after finding out about all the benefits it had to offer. Not only am I treating my body better and allowing it to do what it's supposed to but I am saving money, time and sanity! As a busy stay at home mom of twin toddlers and a 3 yr old, I have found the Diva Cup to be a game changer. It was a challenge at first to figure out the insertion and make sure I had it in right, but by the 2nd day it was a piece of cake. On my heaviest day I had to empty every 4hrs and just morning and night during the lighter flow. This is a no brainer solution for taking care of your body and saving time knowing you don't have to worry about leaking. You have to try it, you'll be thrilled you did!
Every woman should try it!
Although the insertion and removal process is highly unpleasant, the worry-free time between changes makes it worth it. I only had to empty the in the morning and before bed on my heaviest days, and only once on the other days, without having to deal with leakage. I don't know how this cup compares to other menstrual cups, but I don't see how this one could be improved upon. The insertion and removal take some getting used to, but it probably easier for those of us who have already had a baby. This device just makes so much more sense than pads and tampons. It is so much healthier for us and the environment, while being more economical too. No more pads lingering in the trash can and tampons being flushed down the toilet! It would be great if there were a program to get these cups to underprivileged women around the world.
Worth A Try
After reading reviews about the Diva Cup, I decided to try this product in February 2016 for the very first time. At first, to insert the cup felt weird, but after the second/third day, it was like nothing was there. From my personal experience, light days work well for about a good 12 hours before emptying the contents. For my heavy days -- I needed to empty the cup about every two hours (similar changing a tampon). Also, I knew when to empty the cup because I felt a little leakage - so you will definitely know when it's time to run to the ladies room. My experience has been positive, so I plan to keep using the Diva Cup instead of chemical-ridden tampons and pads.
Wish I would have known about this years ago. With some coaching from YouTube on how to use it, it's the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. There is no leaking, no odor and very little mess. It's long lasting and comfortable. I have a heavy flow and can go 10 hours before I need to empty.
I've used a diva cup for at least 13 years now, and I've only owned two cups in all that time. I only needed a new one because I needed to move to the "after childbirth" size. And, yes, I need to move up a size after only a cesarean birth, fyi. You need to empty this about as often as you would change a pad. My first few days are very heavy, which means I needed to change pads every hour, and now I empty every hour on those days. It also means that I need to take mega iron supplements. Most people won't have that difficulty. But this is still far more convenient for me, not to mention cheaper! It is so comfortable, I often forget I'm wearing it. On really light days, I just empty when I wake and when I go to bed. It's really worth a try, you might love it!
I cannot begin to say how much this menstrual cup has changed my life. I no longer dread my period and I am telling everyone about these cups. I wish every woman was open enough to trying one because once you use it you will wonder how you ever went without one! GET THE CUP!!
I was skeptical when i first heard of it. I didn’t see how something like this was going to work with out leaking or working properly. I was so wrong and glad about it. The diva cup is absolute amazing. It may take a few uses to get things correct and comfortable with its use but it is well worth it. Will never go back to disposables again.
I tend to be negative and assume something so simple AND good for the environment won't work very well. I was very wrong in the case of the Diva Cup! The first day took me awhile to get used to it, but by the second day, it was just as easy as a tampon. I love that I'm generating less waste while doing what's best for my body. Also only need to change it every 12 hours!
Great after having my baby
I started using this product after having my son. It has been a life saver. It takes little time to place and is a lot less maintenance than a pad or tampon and is easy to empty and the fact it's reusable is great because even though it's more expensive to buy than a bag of pads, it is more reliable and reusable. I highly recommend trying one of these if you haven't!

Eco-friendly and effective
I was pretty skeptical about trying this because I though it would get messy or I'd spill it somehow or something. It is surprisingly easy to use and clean and the fact it's reusable makes it more than worth the $25 it costs to get it because I'm not replacing it every couple of hours like with disposable products.

I recommend wearing a panty liner while you learn to adjust it and learn to know when it is full. It was like learning to use tampons: simple enough but new and a learning process. It works very well and is surprisingly comfortable.
Try it, it's so worth it
It's weird to get so excited about a menstrual cup, but seriously...it's a game changer. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it out. I track my cycle and I am able to insert this ahead of my period starting so I have no unfortunate surprises while out. A bonus is that I feel like my cramps are less severe, even blissfully nonexistent at times (and I've always had debilitating, excruciating cramping.). I practiced using it before I started my period to get an idea of how it's supposed to feel and I haven't had any issues with leakage or anything like that. I have a heavy flow when I first start, so I need to empty it 3-4x on day 1. After that, once in the morning and once in the evening. It may sound odd, but after almost 20 years of pads and at times, icky tampons, it's kind of liberating!
More than worth it
I started using Diva's for the same reasons as anyone - chemicals in tampons, environmental concerns, cost, etc. I am so so so so so happy I did. Honestly, it didn't take me long to learn and trust it. I had also bought some really cute reusable pads at the same time but disappointed to say I don't even need them anymore!! Diva Cups are awesome! Try it, you won't regret it!! I am NEVER going back to those nasty tampons and pads again!!
Changed my world
There are so many benefits to this, there isn't enough room for me to list them all. I do not have kids, but I was over 30 when I started using this. The first thing I did was cut the tail off. This sits lower than tampons, but if trimmed correctly you will never know its there. I started by using it only at home until I became comfortable with using it. Unlike other feminine products, you may only need to deal with this a couple times a day, there is no odor, and no cramps or vaginal drying / abrasion like tampons. It also changed the way I participate in sports.. No issues, can't feel it running. No leaks when I swim and it doesn't absorb water like tampons. This has been THE game changer for me.
Once I wrapped my head around trying this product, I was so happy I did. The messes were nearly non-existent. It was always handy, especially when I became irregular during peri-menopause. Use at the beach was a breeze with no dangling embarrassments. I wish I had known about something like this when I was young and could have saved hundreds of dollars.

Sorry I didn't buy sooner!
Cleaner, comfortable and a lot less waste. I feel badly for using all of the disposal stuff. Will recommend to everyone!!
All the normal concerns went into me trying this for the first time...saving money...no yucky chemicals from tampons and pads...so much better for the environment. There absolutely is a learning curve but it is so worth it. Almost everything worth doing takes time to learn and adjust. Give yourself a few months but stick with it, look up advice from others who use it. Once you get it figured out you won't look back. It is so much more convenient than tampons and pads.
