About This Brand

What is put on the outside of our bodies is just as important as what is put inside of them. Many personal care items such as soaps, lotions, shampoos, and conditioners, are made with harsh chemicals like sulfates and parabens that can be absorbed through the skin and cause endocrine disruption. Luckily, Dr. Bronner’s is a safe, organic brand that provides a number of quality personal care products, all without those harsh chemicals. Dr. Bronner’s legacy Dr. Bronner’s has a long history dating all the way back to 1858 when a German-Jewish family began mastering the craft of soap making. It wasn’t until 1908, however, that they began formally selling their soaps in small batches. Fast forward 20 years later to 1928, and Emmanuel Bronner (third generation master soapmaker) brought his family’s soap recipes to the United States where he launched Dr. Bronner’s. He began by making his soaps at home and packaging them with positive messages to promote inclusion and happiness. By...

Polite Pass

I have thin, fine, straight chin length hair. To give you an idea, a pony tail for me is about as thick as a tube of mascara. This product is not for me. This is partially my fault, had I been more thorough in reading product description and use, I would have never purchased this. I thought I was ordering hair conditioner, not styling cream. Having said that, I gave it a fair chance anyway and tried it for its intended use. I applied a very small amount (smaller than a pea) to my hands, rubbed together and gently "patted" the creme to the top of my head where I experienced the most tangles after shampooing. I combed the product through my hair, and then used my blow dryer to style as I normally would. This made my hair not only look dirty and greasy, but it felt oily and sticky and well... dirty. You would never know that I had just shampooed and my hair was actually clean. I wanted to love this product, as I do all Dr. Bronner products, but this product is disappointing and left me wanting. I do not recommend for thin, fine hair. Maybe if you have dry or frizzy hair you will have better results. I gave two stars only because of its quality ingredients.

Love It

This was a great switch from my normal gel. Gel always made my hair too crunchy and too spiky. (My hair is very short) Dr. B's leaves it feeling pretty soft but keeps it up n place. My hair feels a little oily to the touch, but nothing unnatural. A little oil is normal since I switched to more natural hair-care products.

Left hair greasy

Amazing smell and texture but it left my hair greasy looking.

Husband loves it!

My husband loves the control this gives him and the scent is not perfumy as some are. For me it was a bit too "crunchy" although when needing to beat my hair into submission, it did the trick :)

A little goes a long way

This product only needs to be used on the mid shaft and ends of your hair. It leaves it smooth. The smell is great.

Frizz Free

This stuff is great. It does take some getting used to but once you do it is amazing stuff. My naturally curly hair is frizz free, shiny and tangle free.

no thanks

We love Dr. B's soap, so thought this would be a great summer conditioner (I like mint in the summer to keep bugs away). It's awful in my hair. Hair looks greasy even after rinsing out. What a dispapointment, especially at that price.

Not for my fine hair

I tried the product twice, the second time using only one pump after using more the first time. Even though I rinsed it out thoroughly, it still left my fine hair very greasy feeling and limp. It took three washings before I got my hair back to normal. It may be just my hair, but the bottle is under my sink waiting for me to think of someone to give it to.

Frizz free!

Works great at smoothing my crazy hair!

Soft and silky hair

I have been using this for about two years, I use a small dime size amount and rub my hands together and distribute all over my hair. My hair is 5 inches past my shoulders and this amount works. Using more and my hair is greasy feeling. Thrive has the best price on it!

Hair Conditioner

Does nothing for my hair.

Ingredients that make me smile

Dr B continues to offer products that work, smell great, and won't kill me in the long run!
