Reviews For Vegan White Cheddar Mac & Cheese
Based on 17 Reviews
Not quite as good as the real thing...needs more cheesy flavor, but I did eat the whole box in one sitting.
This was just okay for me because I like really sharp cheddar. However, I didn't dislike it--it's just that it's just too mild for me because I prefer more flavor. It is something I will keep in my pantry for something to cook quickly if I had unexpected guests or didn't really feel like cooking.

Even if this stuff is free don't fall for it and take a box home. Probably ranks in the top 5 of the worst vegan things I've eaten, even though I love Earth Balance's butters. It is so incredibly salty despite adding EB's butter and non-dairy mylk. What it tastes like but worse is that "add water" mashed potato.
I added avocados in to make it bearable but wanted to dump the entire bowl down the trash.
Good for healthy-ish junk
It's been a long time since I've had dairy cheese, so I can't tell you if this compares. But it's good, it's cheesey, it's quick. When you just want something comforting and easy - this does the trick.
I wasn't expecting this to taste like actual Mac n cheese; but I did expect it to taste decent. I had to choke down what was on my plate, the rest went to the dog. It tastes like lipstick, not even the slightest hint of a cheese flavor.
Satisfies my cravings for comfort food!
Great for Dairy Free eaters
My son is 22 months and has a diary sensitivity so I got this for him. He absolutely gobbles it up. I've eaten some of his leftovers and really enjoy it as well.
Tastes better than the "real" thing
Not being able to eat dairy, I thought I wouldn't get to enjoy the taste of mac 'n cheese again. But I'm happy to say this tastes just like the real thing- and even a bit better. It's not full of bad-for-you ingredients and even though it's an indulgence for me, I don't feel bad eating it.
Not amazing, but good. Has a little tang to it which makes it taste like white cheddar
definitely needed additions though as it was very bland
Great Brand, Disappointing Product
I have loved every Earth Balance product I've ever tried... until I tried this. Before I even tasted it, when I was mixing in the cheese flavoring, I could tell something was off. The smell was almost like crackers that have been sitting in the pantry for a year and begun to smell like paint thinner. The taste was just as bad. Will not purchase this product again, but still love other Earth Balance products.
I cant believe its not dairy!
Very tasty! I wasnt sure what to expect from a vegan mac&cheese but this is absolutely delicious. I used the earth balance butter and califa farms almond milk and I add pepper. Very happy with this product.
so buttery and rich tasting, and cruelty free! highly recommend, it's a great comfort food
Vegan Mac N Cheese
These are a great alternative for my vegan diet. No complaints- I'll definitely reorder.
Inedible. Tasted sweet and flowery. So strange!
Good to have around
I'm not crazy about the ingredients list on this box. But if you a craving boxed Mac and cheese but can't have dairy this is the way to go. I cannot tell a taste difference between this and the dairy boxed stuff. I used almond milk and smart balance with no issues.
It's not gourmet - of course, but prior to becoming vegetarian and then eliminating dairy - I was a huge fan of Kraft Mac & Cheese, throwback to childhood. I had transitioned to Annies since the not so good stuff in it was better than Kraft - now being fully removed from dairy, this Mac & Cheese gives me the guilty pleasure fun without the diary bomb. I like it. It satisfies that need for something I enjoy ;)
