Reviews For Fair Trade Shea Butter Conditioner Lavender
Based on 11 Reviews
Worst conditioner I've ever used.
I have very thick, long hair and this conditioner is very thin and almost watered down. I have to use a lot of it just to feel like it is coating my hair. I think for a man or a woman with very short hair this would be fine.
This conditioner smells great without being overpowering and leaves hair soft and manageable.
I liked the shampoo which I purchased before this thinking it would be great - not so much. This is a super thin conditioner - doesn't leave even my relatively healthy and naturally soft hair feeling conditioned. Don't even get me started on the pump. It just doesn't work. Nothing comes out and the top will randomly just pop off.
Love the product, not the pump!
I love this conditioner and feel great about its specs. However, the bottle I received has a faulty pump, which renders it quite difficult to use. The pump just never squirts anything out, so right now I'm unscrewing the pump every time I use it and messily scraping the product off the straw with my fingers! That said, I really like the conditioner. It doesn't linger on your hair, but it seems to moisturize just fine.
It is a little thinner consistency than what I normally like, but it is great nonetheless. It smells wonderful (REAL lavender is used, no synthetic fragrance) and leaves my hair super soft.
This doesn't feel like conditioner. Doesn't do anything to my hair, and you need several handfuls to get coverage, and it's so runny it's not an easy task.
Awesome for fine hair
I really like this shampoo for my fine hair. I saw some of the other reviews but I am wondering if they have really course or curly hair. I am one of those people that cannot use stuff like Argan oil on my hair as it makes my hair stick to itself and makes it feel greasy but this shampoo is perfect for me.
Better as a leave in conditioner than a rinse out
I love this stuff. I have been using Shea Buetter Lavender as a leave -in conditioner for my curly hair for about 6 months. It works great for soft curls with no lingering scent. I also use it as a body lotion, and it softens without stickiness, irritation, or lasting scent. Sadly, it does not work well when I use it as a rinse out conditioner and leaves my hair sticky.
I love the smell of this conditioner!! Sadly it does not also detangle. My hair is very long and it makes brushing it afterwards quite difficult. But when my hair dries, it's SO soft and silky smooth! I love it!
All Hair Types?
This conditioner didn't quite work for my hair type. I have naturally blonde, oily, thick, snarly hair and it's really hard to work the conditioner in, it doesn't feel like it "moistens" the hair to allow the snarls to separate and fall away. It seems instead, to feel like it's kind of "drying" the area and making brushing it after the shower SOOO difficult. I am totally on board with the product and charity behind it, the conditioner just isn't for me.
I have long, thick, dark curly hair that tangles easily so I have to use quite a bit of conditioner when I wash my hair. My hair and skin are also really dry, and washing every day dries it out even further, so I need a good conditioner to keep my hair healthy. I bought this on a whim and I absolutely love it.
