Reviews For Albacore Tuna in Yellow Coconut Curry
Based on 18 Reviews
This tasty item is always on my shelf. I did not care for some of the other similarly packaged sea foods but love this -- by itself or over rice.
SO SO YUMMY
I wasn't sure how this would taste but it really is so so good. I enjoyed it with my salad.
This one I like!
Some of the other fish items were not for me but this one has become a staple. Very flavorful and SATISFYING. Great to serve with something like rice or noodles but if you are hungry and in a hurry, ONE minute in the microwave and your meal is ready. (makes me kind of hungry just to write this review!)
This is incredible yellow curry. We love it! The only thing I would change is to add more tuna - I usually add 1/2 can of line-caught tuna and it is perfect.
Who knew I would actually LOVE a curry dish... this one is FABULOUS!
I ate this over a precooked 3-grain blend. It was really, really good. It's easy for me to pack to take to work too, and heats quickly in the package.
Great curry; not great-dry tasting Tuna
Tuna tastes so dry that my response is always "why is it in here?" After I add fresh, non-farmed salmon, rating goes to 5-stars. Salmon blends so much better with the curry sauce than the dry-tasting Tuna. Why don't they investigate this obvious issue and correct by subbing Salmon for Tuna? Answer: probably cost.
Great light meal
This is soup is a great quick meal over rice, rice noodles, or by itself. It is my second favorite soup from Fishpeople.
I had hoped for a little more spice, but it was still pretty tasty. I'll probably order it again. It was nice to have on hand late on a Sunday when I felt too lazy to really cook, go out to get something, or order delivery.
Good Flavor, no meat
Fabulous flavor!! However, it says it will feed one hungry person...totally false!!! it is basically a thick liquid. Very very little meat or anything solid. I am looking for "meals in a bag" for low carb dieting to take to the office with me. This is NOT one. If I were able to eat rice, it would taste awesome mixed with rice as a seasoning.
If you like curry, you will like this. I loved it. Mild enough for those who don't like the spicy stuff. I ate it for lunch with veggies, but would be good over rice also.
Open the pouch, micro for 1 minutes, dive in. ..or pour it over cello noodles and fresh cilantro. BRING BACK THE MAC AND CRAB!!!!
We LOVE these soups!
Yummy with Nice Chunks of Tuna
This was absolutely wonderful. Great easy and fast too. I was surprised by the nice size chunks of tuna in the pouch. The flavor was as good as my favorite Thai curry. Contrary to the other review for this product, Thrive shows this as gluten free and reading the ingredients, I do not see any gluten containing ingredients.

I got this free with my order and was very pleasantly surprised. It was very good. I love curry. I only wish that it was gluten free so I could eat it more often!!
I swear, everything tastes better with coconut. Especially when it is combined with curry. This is one of the best products from Fishpeople, and I love that I can get a discount on it through Thrive Market.

This is absolutely my favorite flavor of tuna and Fishpeople make such great and fresh tasting fish products. I use this particular tuna in rice and pasta dishes mostly. The flavor is perfect with the best blending of coconut and curry you could imagine.
Good quality, good flavor
Great portion size; enough for two if you serve it with rice and a veggie. This had good, mild, yellow curry flavor. I added a little more curry powder to mine and a dash of salt/soy sauce to counter the blandness of eating this with rice. It's a great quality packaged product. Very convenient and tastes great.
