Reviews For Red Chile Enchilada Sauce
Based on 18 Reviews
I used this to make enchilada burritos in my instant pot and it was perfect! Great flavor, way better than the other enchilada sauces I've tried before. I used ground turkey but I think this would be great with any type of meat.

I find these products lend themselves to a more authentic taste of Mexican food. More superior in flavor than the canned sauces you can buy at the grocery store.
Perfect flavor with a mild heat. I've added it to ground pork and chicken. Nice smooth texture. I can't find this flavor in the grocery store and the other flavors cost almost twice as much as Thrive. I ordered three more packs today.
best enchilada sauce ever! I haven't used it to make enchiladas yet, I used it as a sauce for shrimp over rice.
I am really a fan of this sauce! It makes really good at-home enchiladas possible, and that’s awesome.
This sauce is absolutely delicious! It is also nearly half the cost of purchasing it from the local grocery.
Love this stuff
Like Speedy Gonzales, it was gone in a flash. Delicioso!
Love this sauce!
I was buying this at the grocery store for double the cost. This is my current fav and I heard the green sauce is delicious as well.
This is the only enchilada sauce we use and it is almost HALF the price of our local store.
I've used this product for awhile already but Thrive has a better price than I can get locally.

Too Much Vinegar
I realize that I'm weird in the way that I absolutely hate vinegar, always have and always will. I have been making red sauce for enchiladas and tamales my whole adult life and have NEVER put vinegar in it. On average, the Frontera products are excellent, but I do not like, nor will ever buy this red sauce again.
Tastes like homemade
Rich and thick. We loved this sauce and the meal was easy to make. We just ordered a few more packets.
Authentic mexican flavors
We make a lot of enchiladas at our house, and it's a pain to have to make the sauce from scratch all the time. Well, we don't have to with this sauce. It's a premium level enchilada sauce that made from fresh tomatoes, chili pepper and organic cane juice, mixed in with other natural spices. It packs a lot of flavor and it's authentic in its taste. I love this sauce and use it once every few weeks for enchiladas.

Great Tomato Taste
I absolutely love making Mexican food, but I don't like the amount of time it can take. This helps a ton, and it has made some seriously great enchilada sauce for my dinners. It has a delicious tomato-like taste that kinda reminds me of a spaghetti sauce. I find that I can use half of a single package to cover about 1-2 burritos for eating by myself.
It was an easy dinner, and it was good, but extremely salty. I'll buy again but remember not to add salt at ALL to the dish because this definitely takes care of it.
This is once of the best enchilada sauce out there. I religiously use this in my recipes. I order this product at Thrive, and they give it to me at a wholesale price!

Just like thanksgiving dinner, mac-n-cheese, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, I consider enchiladas a comfort food. They are the kind of food you eat when having a bad day then feel content, relaxed, and ready to fall asleep after eating.
I got this Red Chili Enchilada Sauce and tried it right away. It makes the perfect flavored enchiladas! While it is vegan, I do add cheese because I am vegetarian, not full fledged vegan, and it is savory with a hint of spice.
It is the perfect amount of spicy I can give this to my non-spice loving friends and spicy food lovers and each love it just the same. I put a side of chilies nearby so if someone has a craving for hotter they can get it. I really enjoyed this sauce and will definitely buy it again in the future.
