About This Brand

HNINA was founded by Vanessa Morgenstern-Kenan with the mission to provide the most delicious yet healthy gourmet chocolates creatable when sparing no cost and tolerating no shortcuts. She made her first truffle in 2010 while pregnant with her twins Carmel and Julia. Vanessa was craving dark chocolate but with diabetes in her family she needed to protect herself from gestational diabetes. Nothing on the market was good and healthy enough to feed her and her two precious babies. The only thing left to do was to create it herself.

Just the right amount of sweetness and nuts!

These are so good! And not too sweet!!

- Hailey

Not sweet. Very dry.

I didn't expect it to be sweet (I love super dark, unsweetened chocolate), but I did expect it to be softer inside. The outer chocolate layer pretty much fell off with the first bite. The inside is unpleasantly dry and crumbly. I think it might help people to know my experience.

Really wanted to like this, it looks so yummy. I gave it a try although I thought I remembered seeing a not-so-good review on here (not sure what happened to it) that described it as not sweet at all and a super dry and crumbly instead of a creamy middle like you'd expect...it was an accurate review in my opinion.

Deliciousness - at a cost

This chocolate is exquisite. I am mostly paleo/keto, but once in an while I will splurge, and this was very delicious. However, it is also a little expensive.
