Reviews For 3 Gallon Compostable Food Waste Bags 30 pk

Great Alternative to Plastic!
So glad to find these bags. We reluctantly have used plastic as garbage liners.... until we found these guys. MUCH better for the environment and they hold up to the use.
If You Care compostable bags
I like these bags because we compost into the bin for the Waste Mgmt to collect, and trying to wrangle raw veg and fruit leavings without the compostable bag is very much a pain. These take most of the hassle out as I do not have a garden of my own (apartment living).
Awesome Waste Bags
This waste bag is the best!! I lined the bag in a empty coffee tin and keep it in the freezer till it's time to take out on trash day. This keeps the bag from getting wet from all the food waste and coffee grinds I put in it. No smell or bugs to worry about. Do give it a try.
These are affordable and compostable making them the perfect bag for my kitchen. I no longer worry about animals going after my regular trash because I am composting everything I can. I'm looking forward to when this turns into compost and I can use it in my garden in the spring.
I use these for all of my food waste. I did learn the hard way not to over fill the bag or they'll break, but otherwise they work great and are a perfect addition to my kitchen.

Could be stronger
A for concept but these were unfortunately not as strong as you need for a garbage bag. If you have "light" trash go for it but for heavy duty I would go with something else.
Outstanding price, ok product
I love that these bags are made from potato starch and not plastic, and that Thrive is offering them for nearly $10 less than Amazon. Yes, you read that right, ten bucks less, which is fantastic.
The bags, however, are just ok, thinner than I wanted and not as strong. I understand that they're compostable, so strength may not be the priority, but I still expected them to be a big more sturdy than they are, so that's why I gave this product three stars for functionality.

Serious tool for the urban farmer
We're always searching for ways to help our environment. These "If You Care" fully compostable food bags, a real steal from Thrive, are perfect for the environment. We have a relatively large garden and to be able to fill it with our own organic compost means a lot to us.
My wife signed us up to the Thrive Market about six months ago. We love our membership! The selections are amazing and the pricing is so much better than nearly all other online retailers.

Not perfect but the nicest and greenest bag I've found for food compost recycling. Will buy again.
