I use this to make muffins
I don't like this mix for pancakes, they need a lot of oil and tend to be greasy. BUT one day in frustration I added blueberries and dumped the batter into muffin tins. They make really good muffins and if you add a few eggs they come out even better.
I can have pancakes again!
This is the best "nonwhite flour" alternative I have found when it comes to pancakes.
Chewy and no flavor
I really wanted this package to work, but it didn't for us. Both my wife and I did not like it. Too dense and chewy with not enough flavor. We also have the pizza dough mix and we are hoping for better results.
A Good Travel Option
I tried this because I wanted to see if it would taste better than the couple of different versions of homemade waffles I make. It doesn't. So I probably won't buy this again. However, I will say that it makes a tasty, dense waffle and it's very convenient for those on the go. All you have to add is water and coconut oil, mix and voila! No eggs. No additional ingredients. Easy peasy. So if you're travelling and have a kitchenette in your room, you could make waffles or pancakes with this mix. Or, if you're staying with someone and have a chance to use the kitchen, this is super nifty.
These Paleo Pancakes were fantastic! We added some chocolate chips to the batter! My family enjoyed these!
because it was delicious

i like it
The first batch didn't taste that great. I added bananas and coconut milk and enjoyed the rest of my pancakes.
My favorite GF pancakes
I needed to add a bit more liquid but these came out so light and delicious. Wonderful with berries and just a bit of maple syrup.
Paleo pancake & waffle mix
Easy to make and tastes grest

PALEO PANCAKE & WAFFLE MIX
it's ok... a bit eggy tasting. Batter was very thick as per the directions/hard to make a round pancake.
The product is great No Complaints there The Price not so great Eating Healthy shouldn't cost this much Bought a 2nd bag. Once done with that Ill try just starting out with coconut flour and try to make my own
Yummy breakfast treat
Used this mix to make waffles which turned out delicious. Only drawback is the price and that one bag of mix was a one-time breakfast for a family of 3.
Paleo Pancake mix
I used this mix for the first time and didn't have good results. The mix was thick, wouldn't bubble like directions said, and burned. The whole mess went in the trash. If you use this, add more liquid to the mix. Directions need to be changed!
with a little alteration...
This is a great tasting GF pancake option. For me, the pancakes come out a little too thick. But I add an egg (my favorite option) and/or a little more liquid, and they are awesome. I love them. I just like my pancakes a little thinner than following the directions creates. Tasty!
Did not taste good very bland and tasteless

Very good! Cinnamon flavor and added gluten free chocolate chips! Yum! Definitely ordering again.
Better the second day.
My family didn't enjoy as much fresh out of the pan. Excellent next day with almond butter. So I suggest making the day before and using ghee.
Wow, I never knew there was such a thing as almond flour and glad I got this mix. So easy and good! Though I admit I put some organic maple syrup on them too. Thank you Thrive!
There are a lot of paleo pancake recipes out there. I have two that I prefer. This mix is not as good as those recipes. These pancakes are heavy and dry. Not worth the $10 for one breakfast for the family.
I made waffles out of it. Will buy it again
Paleo Pancake & Waffle Mix
the flavor was great!!! almost tasted like a cookie. but Very dry... I might try again and add something to moisten them up
Best. Pancakes. Ever.
These pancakes are fabulous! We were excited to find a paleo mix. It has a slight sweetness with a hint of cinnamon. For those who say it has an eggy taste, the pancake needs to be cooked thoroughly. Makes 8 pancakes using 1/4 cup of batter.
Best. Pancakes. Ever.
We were so excited to find a paleo pancake mix and this was beyond our expectations!! There is a slight sweetness and cinnamon flavor which is delicious! We have tried numerous gluten free pancake mixes and none of them compare to this! One package makes 8 pancakes (1/4 cup batter per cake)
These cook up nice and even made more than the directions said. I think I got 8 pancakes. They appear to use almond meal instead of flour so they are a little course. Overall I was pleased with how they tasted and cooked, but I still prefer the almond flour pancake recipe from Elana's (of Elana's Pantry) book, The Almond Flour Cookbook. I'm sure the recipe is online. If you're in a big hurry though, these are the way to go.
Not what I expected
I had high hopes and was actually very disappointed. It was very almond grainy and did not remind me of pancakes. Overall not a good experience.
I also thought it would be coconut flour at first since the brand is coconut products.
These were super easy to make and tasted great. I made a quick peach compote on the stove by sautéing peaches in coconut oil to top them off. They are very nutty and filling. First paleo pancake that I've made that stays together so you can flip it
tastes real "eggy" and I can definately taste the stevia. I don't care for stevia...so if you like it then no problem. Overall good for the Paleo diet but wouldn't buy this normally.
These turned out okay...but they were pretty "eggy" tasting to me. They also have stevia aftertaste to me as well. But if stevia doesn't bother you then these are good. The consistancy is better than the almond flour ones I've made before. Small package.
A bit coarse
I found it a bit too coarse for my taste. They were OK. Just OK.
Didn't work for me
I followed the directions and it was just a thin watery mess. There was no way to make pancakes from this. Complete waste of money.
Nutty and dense
I was a little concerned when I first added the liquid to this recipe...it was very watery! However, after pouring the batter into the pan, the cakes turn out nicely. I recommend stirring up the batter before pouring each cake. Makes about 8-10 medium size cakes. Flavor is good. Texture isn't light and fluffy, but a bit nutty and dense. I topped mine with a little coconut oil, almond butter and real maple syrup... Extras refrigerate nicely and can be re-heated in a warm pan on the stovetop and they taste freshly made. Pretty good for a quick Paleo breakfast.
Better than my own
I have been making pancake batter (more like experimenting) from online recipes and none come out like these. Glad I found something that saves me time and comes out better than mine.
