Reviews For Volcano Rice Heat & Serve Bowl

Based on 4 Reviews

Love all the Lotus Foods rice!

This rice (and the forbidden and jasmine varieties) is just delicious. I was skeptical at the microwave cooking -- thinking it would be dry and tasteless. It comes out perfect and is great by itself with a bit of butter and himalayan salt and pepper. I am a rice lover and this make it easy for me to enjoy more nutritious, good-for-me, rice.

- Robin

This is honestly the best rice that I have ever tasted. It has an incredible nutty kind of flavor and is simply wonderful. It is made even better by the fact that this rice is fair trade and does wonderful things for the farmers who make it. It uses less water for the crop and is full of nutrients. Do yourself a favor and try this rice out!

This was the best rice bowl I've ever eaten...it was so full of flavor and texture

- Sharon

Odd texture

Inconsistent texture. It's a mix of rices. They must have different cook times but cooked together. Some was mushy. OK if you put something on it, but not that great as standalone rice.
