Reviews For Tea Tree Calming Shampoo
Based on 21 Reviews
I'll disclose my hair type to make this review helpful.
- I have a relatively oily scalp.
- My hair is quite long, wavy, and thicker than the average population.
Bottom Line: I would definitely buy this again.
- Delicious smell! It reminds me of mint chocolate every time I shower.
- Superb cleansing power.
- One bottle lasts for many months.
- Can't really think of any.
I have tried multiple organic shampoos to help with my seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff), and this one has been the better of the shampoos. However it isn't "great" because my scalp becomes flaky after one day of not washing. It does, however, not get oily and still feel clean despite becoming very flaky. I would've gave it more stars if it actually helped the flakiness.

Best shampoo I have used in years
This shampoo left my hair very soft, shiny, and frizz free. I love the tea tree oil smell and the mint! It's gluten free as well, so I don't have to worry if my shampoo is going to hurt me.
I have tried using many other natural shampoos & they always leave my hair feeling greasy or heavy. I can use the tea tree shampoo daily and my hair is never weighed down & it doesn't feel greasy at all.

Sensitive scalp is happy
I have an extremely sensitive scalp, and this tingly shampoo certainly calms it! I've had no issues with this shampoo and I love how soft it leaves my hair.
You Gotta Love Tea Tree Oil!
The title says it all. The light smell of the shampoo, the values it has, it works great and it keeps my scalp feeling great.
Love the smell and quality of the tea tree shampoo!
When I started using this shampoo, my scalp was itchy all the time and just felt irritated. This shampoo really does what is says. My scalp has calmed down tremendously and I'm not constantly scratching. I love this shampoo!
I've had oily hair all my life, and I didn't think that a more natural product could work for me. I was totally wrong. My hair feels silky smooth and clean! I will definitely be buying this again.
Not for thick hair
Smells great, has a nice calming and a nice cool tingling effect on my itchy scalp but is definitely not for thick hair. I have more hair than a woolly mammoth on my head and even though the shampoo seams to work for the most part, I have to use a ton for it to even think about lathering to clean my hair and most of the time I still end up having to wash it twice for it to get completely clean.
Perfect for my hair type!
Listen, not everyone has the same hair and no shampoo works for everyone. But for me, who has been trying to control an itchy and flakey scalp for a year and an oily hair type, I finally found the shampoo it needs. I actually got comments that my hair looks more "earthy". It's a natural shampoo so instead of using drug store shampoo every two or three days, I wash it every one to two. Which doesn't bother me. Im recommending it to anyone else that has the same hair problems as me... mostly my family
While this great tea tree oil does help some with my dandruff issues, I don't buy it for that. I buy it because of the minty, cooling effect it has on my scalp. It doesn't matter what kind of day I've had, showering and washing my hair with this shampoo calms and relaxes me. I also love the invigorating scent of the tea tree.

All year I fight with dry scalp and dandruff, but it gets even worse in the winter. My scalp itches and it's painful in the cold months. That's why I use this particular shampoo (and the conditioner). It's cooling and soothing to my itchy scalp and it helps fight dandruff.

Much to my surprise this is the best shampoo I have tried in a long time!
The shampoo has a very pleasant smell, leaves my hair both shiny and soft, and is refreshing to my scalp.
The scent is a little odd in the opinion of my sister and myself, but it cleans my hair nicely, so I recommend it as a good, natural shampoo.

Great discount, average shampoo
I got this on Thrive after seeing it for a dollar more per bottle on Amazon. I was looking for an alternative to the expensive conditioners at the hair salon that didn't seem to work on my dry scalp.
Sad to say this didn't work that much better. Even at this great price, I was expecting the natural tea tree oil to relieve my scalp problems, and it didn't seem to have a huge effect on the itch or the dryness. A little bit disappointed in this product.

Took away the itch
I've had problems with an itchy scalp for a few years, and I've tried salon shampoo and over the counter stuff, and nothing lasted.
I wanted to try this because of the tea tree oil, which I'd heard was fantastic for hair and scalp issues. This shampoo is all natural, and is made from essential oils and tea tree oil, without additives that are toxic.
I noticed several weeks ago that my scalp wasn't as tender and abraded anymore. My hair had a deeper shine and I could tell it was getting healthier. I'm going to keep using this to see how far I get, but the indications so far are great.

Reducing my Dandruff
In case you don't know, tea tree essential oil is supposed to help cure dandruff and flaky skin, so this shampoo was really designed to help you if you have dandruff. This has been perfect. I've used dandruff shampoos that actually burn my scalp because of their harsh ingredients and my sensitive skin, but this was just fine from step one. It has a refreshing scent, and after three weeks of regular use, my dandruff is almost entirely gone. Make sure to gently massage it into the scalp to help it get at the skin it needs to be on.
This shampoo is soothing and hydrating. It really helps the dandruff problem I experience, especially this time of year when it is at it's driest. Tea tree oil is proven to improve dandruff and help rid it, so when I found this shampoo I was excited to try it.
It doesn't have an overpowering tea tree scent and it really leaves my scalp feeling so much better. It is a great shampoo
I feel amazing
I am suffering from itchy scalp about a month ago because I was always switching shampoos. So I decided to switch to this and I feel amazing. I don't itch anymore. My scalp feels healthier and my hair smells great. You should really try this out.

Highly recommend this GREAT shampoo for the price!
I have very oily, thick, wavy hair and this shampoo made it so my hair stayed clean longer than most. I have to wash it every other day with this shampoo I could almost go an additional day. It leaves my hair very soft and manageable. I use it with the Nature's Gate tea tree conditioner and love it.
