Upgrade Your Micellar Water

Why buy regular micellar water when you could have this Acure micellar water with aloe vera, coconut and lavender? It's smells very light and fresh. I use it to take off makeup residue after I wash my face. Highly recommend!

Stings Eyes

Do not use this to remove makeup. It stings your eyes! Also leaves a residue on your face.

OK for what it is.

Posted   by Sharon Y from ANNANDALE, Virginia
I picked up this product because it's a cheaper alternative to the organic micellar water I was using before. As others have mentioned, it is a bit sticky and leaves a residue on the face (may be the first ingredient of aloe vera). I use it to quickly cleanse in the morning so it's effective to the fact I'm only removing light oil and dirt and not makeup. Once I use a toner the stickiness disappears and does not ruin my skincare routine. Tempting to repurchase because of the price, but I may go back to my high-end one.

Huge Miss from Acure

Posted   by Paloma S from Marin, California
I'm a big fan of Acure's products. I've tried many and loved them all. But sad to say this is THE WORST Micellar water I have ever tried. It smells weird, it SUPER sticky, and doesn't clean the face/remove makeup that well. I'm not sure if I got a dud, but somehow the sticky solution leaks through the cap and makes a sticky mess. I'm really disappointed in this product. If you're looking for an inexpensive and cruelty free micellar water I would highly suggest those from Pacifica.

Do NOT use for eye makeup

Posted   by Miranda K from Chicago
Because this is a micellar water I assumed I'd be able to use it to remove eye makeup. Do NOT use this product to remove eye makeup. It stings! This is basically a toner. I'm disappointed because I bought it with the intention to use it for removing eye makeup. I didn't need another toner. I've used 4 other brand of micellar water and they've all been eye safe. Calling this product a micellar water is misleading.
