Good to have on hand when you need to strain something. Paper towel breaks making a mess.

These are great for making nut milks, but also to strain all your kitchen endeavors! I've used them to strain stock and even cold brew coffee.

It's a basic cheesecloth.

I was hoping this cheesecloth would have a tighter weave and a stronger structure but it's a bit loose and pretty thin. To be fair, so are most other cheesecloths I have found. I use for straining herbs and tinctures and so I need that tighter weave to keep the herbs from transferring into my finished product. But if you are using for cheese then I think you will be happy with this product. It's a good price regardless.

Cheesecloth looser than expected

I've used other cheesecloths for making ricotta cheese or straining things, but they were a tighter weave than this cheesecloth. It isn't a bad cheesecloth, but next time I will purchase one of the tighter cheesecloths I have found.

This was so much more cheesecloth than I expected! I’m still using it to strain herbal infusions, months later.
