Why You’ll Love It

Gluten Free Muesli is based on a cereal originally developed by Dr. Maximilian Bircher-Benner, a Swiss nutritionist over 100 years ago. The term “muesli” derives from the Swiss German word mus, which means “mixture.” Our fantastic Gluten Free Muesli is a tasty blend of gluten free rolled oats, brown rice crisps, raisins, dried apples and cranberries, sunflower seeds, almonds, roasted soy beans, pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes. There are many health benefits to this amazing cereal. To start off, it’s made with lightly toasted oats and unprocess

About This Brand

Bob's Red Mill

Bob’s Red Mill is on a mission to prove that not all grains are created equal. Their line offers an array of whole grain products that retain the nutrient content of unprocessed grains, while sticking with the old school way of milling. But while there are many endearing aspects of this family company (Bob and his wife Charlee being one of them), it is the brand’s desire to place the integrity of their product above all else that keeps us returning to Bob’s line of pantry staples time and time again. Should've read the reviewsb and ingredients closely...

So, I definitely applied the "vegan" filter while searching for "muesli". I looked at the values and the nutritional value, but did not look closely at the ingredients. Honey is listed. Some people may consider honey vegan, but it is still technically an animal product. I guess I'll stick with the "old country style" Muesli. Kind of bummed to spend the money on something I won't use, but lesson learned that I need to pay better attention.
