Why You’ll Love It

The DivaCup is a reusable, bell-shaped menstrual cup that is worn internally and sits low in the vaginal canal, collecting rather than absorbing your menstrual flow. Menstrual cups have existed since the 1930s when women were searching for an alternative to the choices of the time. Yet, its breakthrough into the feminine hygiene industry is much more recent. DivaCup is recommended for women under 30 years old who have never delivered vaginally or by caesarean section.

About This Brand

Diva Cup

Dealing with your monthly cycle can be, well, a bit of a drag. Not only do tampons and pads increase our environmental footprint, but they serve as an added monthly expense, and can contain irritating chemicals and artificial fragrances. It’s no surprise that the need for an alternative menstrual care product is high. Enter, DivaCup! Not only is this genius and empowering invention cost...

Love but a few issues

I love the diva cup! I am an active individual who has a very heavy flow that always ends up ruining a lot of my clothing because tampons are never enough. This product eliminated that issue for me. One does have to live and learn with techniques on taking it out but, a couple of tries is all it takes. I would have given it five stars if it was easier to exercise with. Mine shifted and became very uncomfortable (I am a dancer so I move a lot and probably wouldn't be an issue if I was only running rather than kicking and contorting my body). Overall, great product.

Take the time

There is definitely a learning curve to using a menstrual cup, but just keep trying. Once you figure it out they are absolutely wonderful and so much better for the environment...not to mention you don’t have to keep spending money on one time use products.

Can go climbing and hiking all day now

This is the best because you can leave it in for 12 hours. I originally got it for a climbing trip where there was no bathroom around for a whole day. It takes several tries to get used to it, but stick with it and keep trying because it will eventually be great. it only leaks if it's not in right, so readjust if that happens to you. you gotta get personal with yourself to get it in and out. I also love that it reduces my landfill waste of tampons and pads. I don't always bring it traveling because you need to wash it with clean water and it's too gross to wash in hostel bathrooms with people around.

Changed my life!

This is a game changer. I swear I have less period pain when I use this compared to a tampon. It's easier to use than I thought though there is a learning curve. I am a heavy bleeder and only need to change 3 times a day. Plus it reduces waste!

Love the cup!!

I switched over from tampons (gasp) to this a few years ago on a friend's recommendation. I am SO glad I tried it, I will never go back to tampons again! It can be tricky to get it sealed until you get the hang of it, and I use pantiliners in my first few days just in case. Not having to carry around a stash of tampons is really freeing!

Very happy with my Diva Cup

I've been using a Diva cup for the past 5 years, at least. It takes a cycle or two to get used to, but it's so worth it once you do. On my heavy flow days, and overnight, I typically like to wear back-up (I use menstrual underwear), but that's more for peace of mind than absolute necessity. Cost effective, eco-friendly. Nothing to complain about. I recommend it to all my lady friends!
