A whole new set of flavors

I am a new user of walnut oil but have to say it has opened new horizons. This is my favorite brand because of its rich viscosity and heady smell. There is no doubt that it originates from walnuts. We have delighted in slowly sautéing sliced carrots in it until they are almost caramelized and then sprinkling them with a tiny bit of salt and slivered fresh greens. It does not take much of the oil to impart a totally new flavor to the carrots.

Walnut Oil is my new favorite go to for salad dressings. It adds a depth and richness that most vinaigrettes lack. A wonderful add to the kitchen.

The flavor was okay, but the container stinks. It leaked and leaked and is surprisingly hard to pour without spilling.
