They are clean and filling, but there is a weird aftertaste. I roll my bar in a mix of monk fruit sweetener and cinnamon and so good!

Just Okay

These are okay for a packaged snack. Weird consistency but they do last in a gym bag or in your car if you're desperate.

I like these bars

I have several food sensitivities and I really appreciate that these bars make me feel good and keep me filled up for quite a while. No, they don’t taste like a decadent dessert, but I like the taste; apparently I am not sensitive to the monk fruit taste like some of the other reviewers are. I just ordered 4 boxes (2 of them are the coconut lime flavor which I also like).

Love these

I guess it’s an individual taste, because many don’t like them, however, I LOVE these. I now keep a box on hand as a staple snack. They are a bit crumbly, but the spice taste is wonderful, in my opinion.

This flavor just isn’t good- very strange aftertaste. Peanut butter ones are good though.

Wanted to love these, but...

Posted   by Lauren from BOULDER, Colorado
I've been searching for convenient, ketogenic-friendly items to have on hand for the times I'm in a rush, don't have time to cook, etc. Nuts are great, but sometimes you want something a little more substantial. I had high hopes for these Primal Kitchen bars, but was disappointed for a few reasons. Pros: They travel well, are made from ingredients I recognize, seem fairly ketogenic diet-friendly and have a nice allspice flavor. Cons: These are much smaller than I expected. The bars are somewhat dense, yet have a crumbly and dry texture, despite being made from coconut oil. In short, I don't plan to order these again.

I'm eating these only because I'm cheap and can't have them go to waste. These are awful imo!

I know texture can be a hard thing to deal with. But these little guys (all 3 flavors) were delicious! At first you think, "nope! I can't eat this". But then after the first bite you just want more. Lovely little snack. Very little ingredients. I'm a fan.
