Jackfruit Meal Southwest is delicious and quick to make. I took this to work with me and had it for lunch. I thought it was delicious, super fast to make, and was filling. However, after about 3 hours, I found myself hungry again. I think next time, I would do as the others have mentioned and eat it with some rice. A note about the jackfruit: it is oft compared to meat, but it does not have the texture nor taste of meat, and at the same time, it is unlike other fruits. The texture is hard to explain, but the fruit itself can be a little sour depending on how much seasoning or spices are used. I found myself wishing the portion was more significant and that the beans were a bit softer: some of them were crunchy. It should be noted that this was prepared in the microwave, and that might account for the crunchy beans. This meal is one I would recommend to others, and I plan to purchase it again!
