Why You’ll Love It

So natural, it’s not only safe to swallow, it’s actually healthy to. That’s because each ingredient, including the essential oils, is food-grade, all-natural, and good to your teeth, mouth, and body. Earthpaste delivers all the benefits you expect from a toothpaste but without the potentially harmful foaming agents, coloring, glycerin, or fluoride. Instead, it’s made with filtered water, food-grade Redmond Clay, xylitol, spearmint, menthol, and tea tree essential oils, and real salt. You’ll see the difference as soon as you squeeze the bottle, and enjoy its natural minty freshness long after you’ve brushed.

About This Brand

Redmond’s story begins in 1958, when a prolonged drought forced two brothers to abandon their farm in central Utah. Aware that Native Americans had once harvested salt rock from their farmland, Milo and Lamar Bosshardt borrowed a little money and went into the salt business with little more than sledgehammers, picks, and a determination to provide for their families. Their salt deposit, the result of prehistoric volcanic activity that encased an ancient seabed, provided a naturally-balanced mineral salt that local ranchers credited for healthier herds. As the salt’s reputation grew, the Bosshardt brothers purchased land from their neighbors, giving them access to the entire deposit, estimated to extend several thousand feet below the surface of the earth. It wasn’t only ranchers placing a premium on Redmond’s salt products. In the 1960’s, local governments realized that Redmond salt melted road ice more efficiently than traditional white salt, and Redmond began marketing crushed...

Reviews For Earthpaste, Spearmint

Based on 8 Reviews

My first natural toothpaste experience

This product was recommended to me because of its clean ingredients list but being that it is my first experience with a natural toothpaste, the texture of it has taken some getting used to. It is almost like a muddy clay consistency and appearance and obviously does not foam like "normal" toothpaste. It also does not leave my breath fresh for long. However, it does CLEAN my teeth well and I thought the taste of it was great.

Love it!

Great product; and I get great feedback from my dentist! The product works!

GREAT!

I've used Earthpaste for over a year now and am so happy to find it on Thrive for such a reasonable price! So much more affordable than at the local health food store. And more flavor options, too!

Love it!

I thought this was going to feel gross and taste bad. It's not and it has a great minty taste. I use it with my Sonicare toothbrush and it gets my teeth cleaner than I've ever felt. I highly recommend this toothpaste and I'm hoping it will help remineralize my teeth!

Amazingly clean

I wasn't sure that I would like this based on some of the reviews but I am glad I tried it. My teeth feel super clean and I don't mind the non-foaming factor at all--in fact, I think I prefer it. The spearmint flavor is subtle which is nice. I hope they will come out with a travel size.

Great toothpaste

I've love this toothpaste. It contains no glycerin and no fluoride really cleans the teeth.

The best!

I started using Earthpaste because I like the ingredient list and kept using it because of how clean it makes my teeth feel. This is my favorite flavor because it does not use xylitol, which I always worry about keeping around my cat and dog.

OK product

I was excited to try this toothpaste as it was SLS free, and I saw it had essential oils and really no harmful ingredients HOWEVER once I received it there was a warning stating it wasn't suitable for children or pregnant woman because of possible lead contamination in the clay even though they have a description about values and being suitable for children... i am disappointed that is the case and will find a new toothpaste. This toothpaste is also a bit weird to use and ends up turning to the oils once you brush and makes me gag a bit because of how different it is from normal toothpaste.
