It was a little weird at first because you're supposed to mix it with cold water. Honestly it just tastes like cold miso soup and I'm already used to it. If you like salty you'll enjoy it.
New product for me
Want to be healthier and I don't really like fermented foods...tried it as a soup and in " tea"... Still getting used to the taste...want to become a fan of it...
Ive had this product before and bought several of these from Thrive because the price was so great. Great to use in salad dressing, warm soups and curries.
relieves stomach issues
I mix this product into my salad dressing and my sauces. As the label says, a little goes a long way, and it's got a real strong flavor, so you have to be careful how much you use. But as a way to regulate my digestion and get my gut's pH balanced, this works wonders. It's an off-center product, meaning you won't find it many places, but I've noticed that Thrive carries a lot of health food and health products that I can't find anywhere else.

Only place I can find it
I take this to keep my chronic heartburn under control in a natural way. The probiotic helps my digestive system to normalize, which means less acid gets up into my esophagus, and that means less incidents of heartburn and sour stomach. I'm so glad Thrive carries it, as I can't find it at my local natural food store, and Amazon doesn't stock the product at all.

I use it before bed - 1 tsp in some warm water and find it helps soothe my stomach into the next day.
I don't normally like fermented foods other than miso and I kinda hate kelp (yes, I said it), so I took a chance on this. I'm so glad I did! I spread it on my raw "cheezits" topped with cucumber and tomato. Lots of flavor, salty and umami. Made the flavor of everything in my snack better than it normally is! Highly recommend giving it a try!
I've been mixing this with sauces and dressings to top my raw/vegan/suiperfood concoctions, and its pretty good! It's definitely on the saltier side of the pallet but has a mild oceanic quality that reminds me of my mom's tuna noodle casserole (It's just a tiny hint of that, that no one else might pick up on, but it made me happy eating it) I've added this to salads, raw pastas, grains, kelp noodles, etc. It's pretty versatile. It could also be used to spread thin on different wrap skins for wraps, rolls, and rollups. Healthy and limitless!
