About This Brand

St. Dalfour is a privately owned family company under the same ownership since its founding in 1984. The St. Dalfour production facility is located in the Aquitaine region of Southwest France, an area known for centuries of culinary excellence as well as the famous wines of Bordeaux. St. Dalfour Fruit Spreads, made from natural fruits and free of any preservatives or added sugar, are delivered from our production facility to 120 countries. St. Dalfour is the first company to have applied special concentrated grape juice from which the aroma and flavor was removed during the jam production, which made it possible to produce naturally sweet 100% jam without added sugar. This method has its origin with the grandmother of Mr. Kistner, the president of St. Dalfour. During the First World War, sugar was very limited in supply and quite expensive. Because the Kistner family owned vineyards and had access to extensive supply of grapes, Mr. Kistner’s grandmother made jam with concentrated...

A favorite. Just the right balance of sweet and citrus.

This is the best marmalade! Big pieces of rind, just the right amount of sweetness, beautiful bright orange color ! My favorite, hands down!

Traditional Marmalade

Since Marmalade is traditionally bitter, this is just what it should be. I like a non-bitter marmalade myself, I suppose I'll have to continue to make my own. The texture is nice and it is very sweet.

French orange conserves

I didn't care for the taste alone. But it was very nice to add to braising meats and fish.

Soft and Delicious!

This marmalade is perfect! I have always loved the taste of orange marmalade, but I don't like the hard jellied version. When I ordered this, I thought I'd have to put it in the microwave to soften it, but it isn't necessary. It is wonderfully soft and delicious!

Thick is right!

These conserves are definitely thick. I really like them that way though! The orange flavor is really good and it spreads easily. I love that it is dye free so my son with sensory issues can eat it and it's preservative free making it a healthier option.

So Authentic!

These preserves are so authentic! They taste just like my mom used make with us when I was little. The orange is incredible-my favorite flavor by far. Great on toast, English muffins, crackers....Yum

For true marmalade lovers!

Thick, with chunks of preserved orange rind. Very tangy/tart and great for croissants and biscuits. Even tried with ghee, and it held up. No added sugar, and a great deal - a happy find!

Great authentic marmalade

I've always liked marmalade because it's thicker and fruitier than jam or jelly. This is french style marmalade, cut thick and full of organic oranges, fruit juice and pectin. It's really strong in flavor and if you don't like chunks of orange in your marmalade, avoid this. I love it on scones and croissants in the morning with coffee.

Just Like Grandma's Marmalade!

I've always been fond of Orange Marmalade. My grandma used to make it every year and I couldn't get enough. She passed down her recipe, but no one in the family has been successful at replicating her great fruit spread.

Mom found St Dafour's thick orange marmalade at a fancy health mart and she purchased a jar. We devoured that small jar in a weekend. It was delicious, almost as good as grandmas.
My brother found Thrive Market, the online everything for your health store. We all got a membership and have everything shipped to mom's house. We love the discounts and great selection.

Healthiest Marmalade out there

This jar is jam packed with 51% oranges. That is a lot. No added sugar, but it tastes as sweet as the day is long. It tastes as delicious on a sandwich as it does on a cracker or slice of toast.

This is a great product, full of vitamins and healthy benefits. Buying it at Thrive Market, as a member, offers great discounts too!

This is an excellent marmalade.

Can't get enough

This Orange conserves is amazing. I can't get enough of it. I put it on toast, sandwiches, in sauces, I have even turned it into my own salad dressing it is so good. I could eat it out of a jar if that was socially acceptable. It is sweet and citrusy and my kids love it as well.
My husband even eats this, and he is NOT a jelly, jam, preserves etc. kind of guy. He will put this on his sandwiches and I have seen him sneak some of my dressing as well... (sneaky, sneaky) It is a hit with the whole family which ups it's value in my opinion. It is affordable and delicious.
