Love this stuff!!!
This so good with stevia and nut milk. Especially freshly made hazelnut milk. Will buy this one often. Never want to run out.
Mocha Herbal and Hazelnut Teeccino
Not only do the Teeccino varieties taste exceptionally good, I love that the ingredients are healthy and they are mostly organic. The Mocha and Hazelnut are my favorites. I quit drinking regular coffee as part of my effort to get my blood pressure down without the use of BP drugs. It's wonderful to have a good hot drink that makes you not really miss the coffee!
Teecino Mocha Herbal Coffee Alternative
So enjoy this Teecino coffee alternative! Nice mocha flavor accented with a hint of almond. When complimented with a dash of the Coconut/Almond creamer, it is a welcoming and warm morning treat!
I'm new to Paleo and I'm trying to go around having my fabulous morning coffee so I tried this substitute. It's ok and I think it can be really good I just haven't found my mix yet-you know.
I add this to my coffee for flavor and reduce caffeine intake. My daughter is hooked too
That'll do, fig.
Sorry about the title. I'm tired, and I thought it was funny. Skip to the bottom paragraph if you want to bypass the local stops and head directly to the main station on my train of thought.
This is my first Thrive review, and my first time trying Teeccino in any flavor. I elected the Mocha for my inaugural test. I just made it about half an hour ago, so this review is on my initial impression, and not "how it makes me feel later."
My first thought was "wow. The bag feels heavy/dense. The stuff looks like maybe a super-finely ground potpourri. It smells good.
I decided to brew in my 3-cup French Press, using 2 Tbsp. The bag recommends 1-2 Tbsp for this size, and I typically like my coffee strong. Well, let me tell you, it is strong! Definitely not lacking in the flavor department. I am good with this strength, but I also added half and half to it...had I not, then 1 Tbsp might have been strong enough. But it was 9:30 pm and this is a "dessert coffee" for tonight, so it's good that it tastes pretty decadent.
Now, I like my coffee. I have at home three presses of various sizes (well, 4--one of whose beaker is broken), 2 Moka pots (6c and 3c), and a 4c drip maker at work. Oh and a cold press contraption. It would be tough to give up my coffee. Some of my addiction is no doubt the caffeine, to which I have somewhat of a tolerance...but part of it is quite assuredly the ritual and the reward. I love how coffee tastes, and I love "having my coffee" in the morning or afternoon. It's not even necessarily that I "have to have it before you can talk to me"...I just enjoy it, and the "need" may be secondary. I may also be in denial about that, but whatever; my denial is not the subject here. What I am trying to say is that this drink satisfies the "ritual" and "reward" aspects so far, on my first night with it. I was worried that it would taste like crap, or have nothing in common with the coffee I love...but, I have to say that, based on taste, body/mouth-feel, and smoothness...it definitely passes muster for me. There is indeed a hint of sweetness (I added nothing but the cream), and the mocha flavor stands out nicely. It is obvious that it's NOT coffee, but not in a bad way, and it surely comes close enough for me. I will test it here and there to see if the lack of caffeine affects me...e.g. I might try it tomorrow morning on its own instead of coffee, and we will see how that goes.
All rambling aside, whether or not this ends up being a full replacement for my coffee (probably not), it has definitely earned its place alongside it as an alternate drink. Especially at night, since I am trying to curb before-bed caffeine consumption, and I am not a fan of decaf.
I definitely recommend.
I can't believe this is not real coffee
I had to look for herbal coffee because I just found out I can't drink coffee anymore due to my medical condition. So I looked for the best one I can find and this is the one. I enjoyed this flavor and makes me feel like I am drinking real coffee with flavor. I drink it as hot coffee or make ice coffee which is very very delicious with milk. I don't miss real coffee anymore and this herbal coffee is my morning coffee and afternoon ice coffee with mocha herbal coffee alternative without worrying about caffeine . I am so glad I didn't have to give up drinking coffee because I found this delicious coffee alternative and I love it. I guarantee you are not going to miss real coffee for somebody who is advised not to drink coffee anymore because of medical condition . It was really easy for me to stop drinking coffee because of mocha herbal coffee alternative.
Great alternative for coffee.
I love hot drinks but can't tolerate coffee or tea and don't like the taste of decaf. This drink is great because I can have my hot drink anytime of the day and still sleep at night. I like the taste too!
I LOVE that there is a healthy alternative to coffee. The hint of chocolate/cocoa makes for an absolutely delicious drink and (bonus!), it's caffeine free!!!
My husband and I have been drinking this for quite some time in order to cut back on coffee. It tastes great - very satisfying and we love the discount we receive by buying it from Thrive Market.

I gave up coffee about six weeks ago, and was doing find on herbal teas...however, I missed that robust taste of coffee. This is a wonderful alternative. Tastes like coffee to me without a need for any type of cream or sweetener. So glad I found Thrive! :)
I really wanted to love this
With an impressive and unusual ingredient list, I really wanted to love this...but it just doesn't come close to the taste of coffee. On the positive side, it takes a very little amount to make a few cups so I feel that you can get your money's worth.
It's not coffee, it's better!
I thought I was looking for a coffee replacement, an "alternative." Once I'd tasted it, I knew I wanted it as an everyday drink. Replace coffee? Who knows; who cares? This stuff is so much better! Not only that, it adds health to my daily hydration habit, and without caffeine, there's no fight going on to rehydrate thoroughly. Artificially decaffeination is far from the same as naturally UNcaffeinated. Try this drink, even if you aren't a coffee drinker!
I like this, and especially that it doesn't have caffeine. Sometimes I mix it with coffee about half and half, which makes it taste better to me, but overall a nice mix! A little maple syrup and milk add the perfect touch.

I am in love with this alternative coffee! It tastes so delicious and it much more nutritious than regular coffee. I sometimes drink this alone or sometimes will add some coffee in it for some caffeine. If you are trying to get off of caffeine for any reason, or just want a tasty alternative, try this! I don't think you'll regret it! By the way, the vanilla nut and hazelnut are great flavors too. I think this is my favorite though!
Not Perfect But Comparable
This isn't a perfect alternative to coffee, but it's pretty close. It has a very thin consistency when added to water which makes it taste like coffee. It has a dark-roasted color, and while it doesn't have as flavorful tastes as coffee does, it has very similar coffee-like tastes. If you're trying to give up coffee for some reason but it has become ingrained in your daily routine, you can even brew this in a coffee pot like regular coffee! It's a good alternative to coffee. Not perfect but comparable.

Vegan friendly coffee
Ok, so it's not really coffee, but it has a similar flavor, and none of the drawbacks like caffeine, acid, and artificial ingredients. It also has inulin, which helps you digest better and it's 100 percent organic.
Basically, if you love the taste of coffee but are off the real thing, Teeccino is the best thing going. It brews in a machine just like coffee, and you can also buy the single serve bags where you just add hot water.

Love this coffee substitute
I've cut coffee from my diet for a lot of reasons, but I still crave that taste and aroma.
So when I saw Teecino had a coffee alternative, I bought a bag to see if it would stop my cravings. The ingredients are all natural and a little strange, as you've got dates, almonds and figs mixed in with carob. But it all blends together really well and tastes a lot like the real thing. Not exactly, but really close.

Surprisingly satisfying substitute for coffee
I've been drinking organic decaf coffee for years, but it has started giving me heartburn recently. So I switched to Teeccino several months ago and I'm really enjoying the Mocha flavor!
