Tastes good, not worth the stomach cramps
First off, these taste AMAZING and smell of fragrant, delicious oregano. The texture is slightly fluffy which reminds me of true flatbread, and they don't break easily when you try to roll things up in them!
However, these have a LOT of fiber - 25% your daily recommended value, to be exact! Be prepared to have extreme gas after eating these, and if you aren't in a place where you can freely break wind, you may suffer from debilitating stomach cramps and mild nausea.
I actually cut each wrap into thirds and put it around hot dogs and sausages like a bun. The texture and flavor is fantastic, but I guess I'm still adjusting to eating THAT MUCH fiber in one sitting! I hope other people have better luck with this product!
Wrap for a burrito?
These definitely taste like coconut. They were a bit too brittle and thin to use for a burrito, but they are far better for you than flour products- just a little messy to use to wrap food in, as the come apart while you are eating them.
These wraps seem expensive as there are only three per package. However, I find that half a wrap is more than enough for a lunch sandwich, so I am able to stretch it out to 6 servings. These are firm enough to hold any filling (unlike a number of other wraps on the market) and filling enough to satisfy. Delicious!
I did not enjoy the predominant oregano taste of these wraps. Another reviewer had mentioned the turmeric taste, which I would have preferred. Good pliable texture for wrapping up things.
These wraps are very good - nice chewy texture - some may not like that there is a hint of sweetness and there are a little bit rigid ... But I loved them - I wrapped my first one around paleo mayo, lettuce, tomato and paleo bacon and it was delicious!
A Plus and a Minus
I like that there is a wrap option for those of us on the Paleo diet. I wasn't a big fan of the flavor, personally. That doesn't mean others won't like them, as I'm just not a big fan of tumeric. Beware of moisture, as they break easy when wet. They were okay, but maybe just not my thing.
These wraps are not super soft but they roll nicely with chicken, lettuce and other veggies. They're slightly sweet which I enjoy, and for the kids I cut them up and cracker size pieces for a healthy snack at school.
its the best tasting wrap out there. i am vegan and have celiac disease and I am hooked. thank you
A great wrap
Superb taste- highly useful. Much prefer over coconut wraps.
NOT WHAT I EXPECTED
THE TASTE IS GOOD BUT THEY ARE REALLY LEATHERY AND CHEWY
Like trying to eat a really tough fruit rollup. The flavor is fine, but it's impossible to use these as wraps.
I was very surprised with the sweet I tasted, this wrap goes very well with just about anything you put in it.
These wraps were a pleasant surprise. I really liked the flavor and how versatile they are.
Too tough to chew for us
Excellent flavor! I really loved it. I like it by itself as a snack or on the side, as well as a wrap.
I've been making wraps and crackers in my dehydrator for years and have never made any that taste this good. I can't wait to try the other flavors
Thick tortilla alternative
Reasonable alternative to flour and corn tortillas. These are quite thick and take quite a bite to get through, but the taste is good with a hint of apple taste. Definitely can't fold these though if you are looking to fold one end to keep fajita or wrap contents inside. Will buy more even with being thicker than I would like.
Microwave a wrap for about 15 seconds before you fill it - becomes very pliable. Agree that it's a little tougher to chew but it's delicious and a great sub when you're tired of lettuce. Try the sweet ones too!
Tastes good, but hard to eat.
The wrap itself has a great flavor. The problem is that it's so sturdy that it is hard to take a bite of and chew. I had a hard time actually using this to make a wrap with meat and veggies, because I couldn't rip apart the wrap that well. If it was made much less tough, I would use it again, because it still tasted good.
This is not like a regular wrap, its thicker but low in calories which is nice! I would like to try a more savory wrap but have to see what they have for flavors. Great alternative to bread!
I really want to like these
I need someone to tell me how to soften them up! The taste is good to me, not hard to work with (they don't break and fall apart like Julian Bakery's wraps), and they have great ingredients. They are just so hard to bite! Makes my teeth hurt!
