About This Brand

Super-natural beauty products that work, spread smiles, and give back.Once upon a time... Two mates met while playing soccer. One dominated the field, the other had the best 'after goal' dance moves -- it was the perfect match (pun, totally intended). Besides shaking up the field, their goal (again, intended) was to shake up the world and create a super-natural beauty line, made with fruits and veggies (yumm . . . ) that works, is guilt-free (no more breaking the bank!), and free of harsh chemicals (ahhh. . . so clean). It was a lofty goal but from there, YES TO was born.Fast forward, YES TO is now a global leader in natural beauty products, with award-winning formulas and unique collections, that can be found in over 20,000 stores (from the biggies to the mom and pops) across the world. YES TO has gone from two captains to a team of fun-loving, wine-drinking, active-life living folks in San Francisco who…a) create products with love (and you in mind)b) give back, through the YES TO...

Reviews For Carrots Nourishing Shampoo

Based on 9 Reviews

I have used this shampoo before and have found that it cleans very well for a chemical free, vegan product. Most of the items from Yes to are vegan, hopefully they will all be soon.
Just a heads up - the product ingredient list on the website is incorrect.

This shampoo cleans well but if you are sensitive to strong fragrances BEWARE. This one is extremely strong and lingering. My husband even notices the smell in the hallway hours after my shampoo.

Felt like a mild soap, which is nice, though the scent is a bit like those handmade bars of soap (kind of waxy).

Better than a regular purifying shampoo

This shampoo gets my hair very clean, and I can tell that it is not harsh like most regular store bought shampoos I have used most of my life. However, I have thick course hair, and I cannot use this shampoo every time I wash my hair (which is every other day on average) because it is either not moisturizing enough, or something in it is stripping out a little too much of my natural oils.

Works well on my hair

I have oily hair, and so far this shampoo has been great. My hair is looking much healthier, and I have far less tangles when I comb through after a shampoo. One thing I advise, is to buy the conditioner as well, because you want to have the deep scalp treatment for best results. I'm seeing huge differences already using both products, and by the way, they are all natural, so no harmful chemicals on your hair.

Not just for women

It seems as if there's a misconception that these kinds of natural shampoos are just for women, but that's not true. I've been using this for the past three weeks, and it's worked wonders on my hair. I have dry hair, and it lies limp a lot, but after the first few washings with this, I noticed my hair was looking shinier. It's kind of strange washing with carrot juice and a bunch of other natural juice extracts, but I think nature has its own healing ways that chemicals can never duplicate. So I'm here to write that this is working for a guy, just in case there's men out there who might overlook this shampoo.

New Formula

Yes To! Carrots changed the formula recently, so now my favorite shampoo is only 97% natural instead of the old 99% that it used to be. This shampoo now comes out as a white color instead of the orange color that I've grown accustomed to. It still seems to be cleaning my hair just fine, but I have to wonder what prompted the change to the new formula.

Smells great

Yes To products are great and great for the environment. This also smells good. But it left my hair a little dried out. I had to double up on conditioner the first couple times I used it.

I think that the issue is that your hair just needs to get used to something so good for it. I will definitely give it another try now that my hair is healthier.

Say yes to Yes To

Yes To products are at the tops of my favorites list. i have tried many of them and I've loved them all. The Yes To Nourishing Shampoo does just what you think it would, it nourishes your hair. I love how soft my hair feels after I've washed it with Yes To products.

I also love that these products are made with many natural ingredients. It not only feels good to eat healthy, but it also feels good to use healthy products on your body. Our skin absorbs what touches it, so consider what is in the products you are using. Say yes to Yes To!
