Santa and the Mrs. won't be the only ones begging for chocolate chip cookies for the holidays.
The aspiring bakers on your list and cookie aficionados at home will go crazy for Sister's Gourmet's Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. All the dry ingredients you need to make three dozen come artfully layered in a mason jar—and the resulting treats come out perfectly chewy and delicious every time. Just add eggs, butter, and vanilla and bake! Here's the full recipe.
Soften 1 1/2 sticks of butter in a large bowl.
Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Add entire jar of dry ingredients and mix well, adding 1–2 tablespoons water (until dough forms).
Form 1 1/2 inch balls and bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Added bonus: Long after the cookies are gobbled up, you're left with a mason jar that you can repurpose year-round to store flour, sugar, or more baked goodies.
