Clos des Roques
Wine and the French countryside are nearly synonymous, and like so many other sectors, the wine industry in France is increasingly trying a sustainable, natural approach to producing its famous offerings.
Clos des Roques is one such brand, using a small vineyard to produce some great-tasting natural wines we're sure you'll love.
The History of Clos des Roques
In Southwestern France, not far from the Mediterranean coast, is the village of Cesseras, where the Gastous family founded Clos des Roques.
While the family had been involved in the wine industry as growers for generations, it was only in 2001 that they branched out into making wine of their own. By 2008, the company had grown enough to buy plots of land where they could organically produce wine from the vine right into the bottle.
Clos des Roques Company Mission
Clos des Roques is dedicated to making its wine as sustainably and naturally as possible. Its small, family-owned operation is designed to ensure that there is no negative impact on the environment and that everything is 100% organic.
That mission includes a policy of ensuring all wines are harvested by hand.
