About This Brand

The modern diet is filled with refined sugars like high fructose corn syrup and white sugar that have a high glycemic index and can lead to type II diabetes. Even worse, some foods contain artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, and saccharin, which are heavy carcinogens and are linked to a range of chronic illnesses. Luckily, this is where Sweetleaf comes in and provides a diverse line of all-natural stevia sweeteners. Discovered more than 1,500 years ago, stevia has been used by the Guarani people of Paraguay to sweeten teas, freshen breath, and treat a range of medical ailments for centuries. Stevia is a small herb with leaves that taste 30 times sweeter than sugar. It also has an incredibly low glycemic index, which has a very small impact on blood sugar levels. Plus, stevia isn’t made or processed with heavy chemicals that can damage our bodies, making it one of the healthiest sweeteners on the market. Thanks to Sweetleaf, you can have the highest quality stevia...

Reviews For Non-GMO Stevia Sweetener

Excellent taste, no digestive upset!

Great taste, no strange after taste. One of the few sugar alternatives I can use without digestive issues. (Aspartame is super bad for my system, among other problems with it!) I love it!

Not idea for cold drinks...

I use stevia for my chilled teas, iced coffees, and smoothies which are also cold. As someone mentioned it doesn't dissolve in cold drinks this is also true for me. I mainly use mason jars and can see it sticking & clumped at the bottom, even after vigorously shaking the jar. I cant see if it's clumping in my cold smoothies but I'm sure it is. This is unfortunate and my first time using Sweet Leaf. I'll finish off the box with hot coffee and stick with Zing which tastes better. May try a flavored liquid drops by Sweet Leaf in the future if it's reasonable priced for a trial and error use.

Great sweetner!

This is a really clean version of stevia, without the additives. It has a smooth taste and is easy to keep in your bag when on the go.

- Ranie

a sweet sweetener

i am always looking for the healthiest sweetner for my coffee. this one is definitly sweet. may only need half a packet instead of a whole. will definitly buy again

- Wendy

Best one I've tried

I use it to sweeten iced herbal teas in summer. And I did once use it in a recipe. Never detected the bitter after taste of some stevia brands. It dissolves well and it's incredibly sweet.

- Patricia

Delicious

Hard to get here. Love the sweetener.

- Patricia

Okay, but

I carry these with me. It tastes OK, but the powder doesn't dissolve well in cold beverages. It clumps and sticks to the glass.

- Tracey

Best flavored powde

I have used a different brand powdered stevia and was a bit leary of a change as I have had some that left an aftertaste. This one does not, is as good as the one I've paid much more for. It is a good pick.

- Paula

Best stevia!

I love how this is mixed with inulin fiber, so healthy for you!

- Teresa M.

IMHO

This is the best stevie product I've found

- Darlene

Love

I really love this product

- Connie

Ho Hum

This might be the best stevia on the market but it seems that I will never enjoy using it. I cannot stand the cloying aftertaste especially when used in my coffee.

- CARLA

Stevia.

I think I may have used a little bit too much of this product as I found it to be slightly bitter.

Sweet leaf

This is a very good Stevia product and I especially like the organic. I have the liquid version as well, and they both serve a purpose in my kitchen. It isn't as sweet as sugar, but has a good taste in oatmeal, yogurt, smoothies, but without the calories. Does not have an aftertaste, and it is not useful in baking.

- Thrive User

less is more

I'm new to stevia and have dreaded the transition from sugar. But I was pleasantly surprised and glad I picked Sweet Leaf (a popular brand). I read that you should start with small amounts and build up gradually until you get used to the taste. And that method has worked for me. I started with 1/4 tsp in my oatmeal and worked up to maybe 1/2 tsp and it's sweet enough. A big relief that I am starting to enjoy the taste as I do not want to go back to regular sugar consumption.

Best Stevia Sweetener I've Tried

I have been trying to cut out sucralose (Splenda) from my diet, and know that stevia is a much better alternative to sugar alcohols. However, I have had a hard time trying to find a stevia that doesn't taste vile. This one fits the bill for me! As another user stated, it can clump up in cold beverages. Just be sure to give it a good stirring. I keep a bottle of this at my office, and wanted some packets to keep in my purse when dining out.

- Danielle

Best Replacement for Sugar!

Would never go to article sweeteners, so glad to have found this.

- Julie

Non-GMO

Really like the fact that this organic and non-GMO. One packet is the perfect amount of sweetness for a cup of tea which is what I mainly use this for. I also use this for sprinkling on tart fruit for my 4 yr old, and I can feel good about giving it to her!

- Jessi

Love this

I used the sweetener in everything from tea to Coffee smoothies you name it it tastes so good

- Lisa

My top pick for Stevia!

I have tried pretty much all the Stevia brands of sweeteners and I think this Sweet Leaf Stevia is the best by far. It has a very natural subtle taste and doesn't have that off taste that some of the Stevia brands have. Highly recommend this product!

- Shelly

Best Stevia

Great in my green tea. I only use half a packet because it is so sweet.

- Molly

Has an aftertaste, but...

This "SweetLeaf" Stevia has an aftertaste that is definitely noticeable in my homemade lemonade drinks, but I'm getting use to it. Other than that, the other factors (non-GMO, zero calories and artificial ingredients, etc.) outweigh the taste so I'll keep buying for now until I run across something better.

- Abdul-Raheem

Best Stevia

I love this sweetner... No other ingredients!

- Lisa

The Best Stevia Brand

So many of stevia brands contain unhealthy ingredients, some even with types of sugar (one thing I'm trying to avoid). I have tried several and did not like the aftertaste. Not sure it was the extra ingredients are not, but SweetLeaf far surpassed any other brands. I personally don't have an aftertaste with it and it is the only stevia I now buy.

- Agnes

Beware Iced Coffee Drinkers!

In general, I like the flavor of this product compared to other Stevia products (Truvia is GROSS). However, it clumps in iced coffee, which can cause one to suck up gross, slimy, blobs of sweetener without warning, It's really quite off-putting, and for me, it's a deal breaker. I'll finish the box, but I wish Thrive would offer Monkfruit packets!

- Mollie

Sweet Leaf Stevia

This is the best tasting stevia - hands down! Others are filled with fillers or preservatives which I refuse to put in my body.

- DD

Not the best tasting sugar

I got off sugar in order to feel more healthy, and bought this stevia.

I mostly use it in coffee, and maybe it takes time to get used to it, but I'm not a huge fan of the taste. It doesn't taste like sugar, more like a blander and more bitter version, and it's hard to drink coffee with that kind of flavor. I know it's healthy, but this definitely isn't for everyone.

- A. Freeman

Non toxic sweetener

I've tried Splenda and other non sugar sweeteners, but with all the stories about how toxic they can be, I stopped using them.

My friend had talked about stevia all the time, so I decided to try the organic version. It works fantastic in coffee, tea and oatmeal. It's a pure sweet flavor with very little aftertaste. I don't miss the other stuff, not when I know this isn't going to kill me somewhere down the line!

- Alvin Fletcher

Best Artificial Sweetener

I enjoy this Stevia brand. Stevia is one of the artificial sweeteners with the least amount of concerning findings about health, so it's, of course, one of my favorites. Depending on what you're using it for, though, be aware that it can have an aftertaste. If you're used to especially-sweet foods, the aftertaste is more noticeable, but if you're used to less-sweet foods, you probably won't notice the aftertaste nearly as much. It's a good Stevia brand, and I love making some of my favorite sweets with it to reduce the calories!
