Our mission is to make healthy living easy and affordable for everyone. That’s why when you buy a Thrive Market membership, you’re also donating one to a low-income family, teacher, veteran, or student. WHY IT MATTERS
Every year, 80 percent of low-income families resort to buying food they know isn’t healthy just to make ends meet. Meanwhile, more than 23 million Americans today still live in “food deserts”—low-income neighborhoods without healthy food. This lack of access contributes to a number of illnesses, including: diabetes, heart disease, and more, costing our country hundreds of billions of dollars and compromising the quality of life for millions of people.
MEMBERSHIPS
We work with nonprofit partners like Feeding America to distribute free memberships to the families and individuals they serve. We also allow people to apply for a free membership right on Thrive Market.
EDUCATION
We offer custom educational content to our Thrive Gives members, from shopping lists to recipes to a 22-part video course about how to live healthy on a budget. Learn More
SPREAD THE HEALTH
Thrive Market customers have the option to donate a portion of their savings at checkout, and every dollar donated goes directly into the shopping cart of a low-income Thrive Gives family. Every month, our members donate grocery stipends for more than 1,000 families. We capture data indicating that these additional funds help our Spread the Health members lead healthier lives by helping them form new healthy habits. Learn More

We create and implement advocacy campaigns that help make our world a better place. The goal of Thrive Action is to inform and educate our members and the general public about policies that make a difference in their lives and inspire them to get involved in making change.
