Why You’ll Love It

BioBag kitchen waste bags are primarily used for the collection of food scraps and other biodegradable waste for home or community composting. Our popular BioBag 3 gallon size is designed to fit most kitchen countertop composting pails. Using BioBags takes the mess out of the messiest job, cleaning out the bucket! BioBags can also help reduce odor and bacterial build-up during food scrap collection. Our 3 gallon food waste bags are also great for refrigerated food storage. One feature of the BioBag is that it “breathes” without leaking. This unique benefit allows heat and moisture to evaporate, which keeps food “fresher” longer. Try BioBags for storing your fruits and vegetables. Store your vegetables to maintain freshness, and then use the same bag to line your composting pail. We call it “use and use again”. Our 3 gallon size can also be used for smaller bathroom waste cans.

About This Brand

BioBag® is a world leader in providing bags and films for the collection of organic waste for the purpose of composting. Our mission is to keep organic waste from ever entering a landfill. Unlike regular plastic bags, BioBags are made from a resin derived from plants, vegetable oils and compostable polymers and can be consumed by micro-organisms that live in our soils. Because of this, our BioBags can be readily composted along with organic waste at municipal composting facilities. BioBag isn’t a large petroleum-based plastic bag company that now conveniently dabbles in the new world of compostable bags. We are, instead, a small company of dedicated employees, who are fully committed to ONLY producing certified compostable bags and films. It’s All We Do!BioBag Americas is a fully-owned subsidiary of BioBag International (Norway) with headquarters in Dunedin, Florida. Reviews For 3 Gallon Kitchen Compost Waste Bags

BioBags

These bags are a deal. Very durable! I bought several packages. It's great to keep my food waste bin clean. Highly recommend!

Green Bags-

These were a little smaller than I expected them to be. Size is good for a one meal prep per bag, as long as you aren't cooking a large meal. The quality is good though. Overall good product.

Too small

I tried using these in my kitchen wast bin. They are ridiculously small. I had been using supermarket size shopping bags which were a perfect size and the handles made good ties. These bags have no way to tie them if they have any amount of waste in them. Not at all practical. Will not ve reordering.

Strong!

I decided to try these instead of plastic bag for my cats dirty litter. I was not expecting it to hold so much and it doesn't tear!

May Save My Marriage

I hate taking out the compost. Not only does it feel wasteful, but I always feel super wasteful about the bags themselves too. In fact, it usually is a giant fight between my wife and I when the compost needs to go out. I want to pull out the bag and fill it to the last spot of space and she wants it out of the house as soon as it looks even sorta-fill. The BioBag may end up saving our marriage. I don't feel nearly as guilty about letting the bag go out a bit earlier, and she honestly doesn't notice the difference in trash bags. We haven't had this one rip yet, and it carries quite a bit of compost before you need to take it out.

We've also used this as garbage bags as well. They're small, but they can work in small trash cans.

Use it to hold my veggies

I like these to keep my veggies fresh when they're on the freezer. They're also GMO free and they retain moisture but they don't leak.

Thrive is offering these bags at a great price, less than other sites. I buy a lot of products through Thrive, and this is just another example of the discounts they offer loyal customers.

Lots of uses for these bags

I'm a compost person, and these are strong bags that I use to fill with garden waste, bad soil, grass clippings and other organic waste.

They preserve the waste material really well, and allow me to mix them back in. Thrive has a great price on these, at less than four dollars per bag, compared to Amazon at just under six per bag.
