Why You’ll Love It

Organic Quinoa Flour (pronounced keen-wa) is one of the most nutritious grain flour available. Quinoa was a staple food for the South American Indians living in the high altitudes of the Andes Mountains and was recognized for its superior nutritional qualities. It was dubbed "mother of all grains" by the Incas and had spiritual significance for them. Many traditions and ceremonies surrounded the cultivation, harvest and consumption of quinoa. Widespread exposure to the grain has led the rest of the world to come up with a number of quinoa-derived products, including cereal and flour. This nutrient-rich grain is a wonderful source of complete protein, providing all of the essential amino acids. This powerful little grain is a great addition to any diet, but is an ideal solution for those following a gluten free, vegan or vegetarian diet. This flour is also an excellent choice for those looking for a more healthful twist on standard baked goods and pan-fried favorites such as breads,...

Reviews For Organic Quinoa Flour

Based on 3 Reviews

Great healthy flour

I now use this quinoa flour in all my baking instead of whole wheat flour. I've cut gluten from diet, so this is a great way to maintain my new lifestyle and still get all the benefits of a healthy flour. This is made from organic quinoa, and it doesn't have a strong flavor that you can taste in baked food. I'm a big fan of Bob's Red Mill.

Great Pancakes!

I switched over to using quinoa flour in order to make my morning pancakes! I love that it's organic, and it makes such light and fluffy pancakes. I just have to add salt, baking powder, oil, flour, and water. I like them a bit salty. This quinoa flour also makes pretty good waffles. A little bit goes a pretty long way, so I love that I don't have to purchase it all the time. Definitely would recommend.

Yes!

I am so happy that I found this flour on thrive! I was paying much more in person and we use this flour all the time. I use this for pancakes almost every morning and I replace half the flour in my baked goods to help them be healthier. I really enjoy this four in all of my baked goods!
