Reviews For Lavender Auto Dishwasher Gel

Based on 17 Reviews

It worked wonderful for me!

I don't know why they're bad reviews, because this stuff works great for us, I even put a pen in the dishwasher that was soaked in very dirty from my husband barbecuing, and it came out much cleaner than I could've gotten it myself! I love that it's healthy products, and not laden with chemicals.

Leaves Film

Nice light sense ok as a prewash but doesnt clean well alone

- Eileen Ward

Smells god but...

It leaves my glasses milk white. I do not like this at all.

- Tetyana

I don't notice any spots

Not good enough

Even though I followed the directions - and basically cleaned my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher - this didn't clean well enough. It didn't get off any food that sneaked by me, it left residue and streaks, and the dishes etc. do not feel clean. Other eco-friendly soaps work, but this doesn't. One star for nice smell.

- Tara

Works Great!

This works great plus I love the fact that it's non toxic!

- Susan

Pleasantly surprised

I ordered this thinking it was a long shot. Most natural dish cleaners are pretty worthless but this cleans as well or better than my cascade tablets with hard water. I will definitely order again.

- April

I guess I like it, I'm buying it again.

I used Cascade before my family started phasing out the "unnatural," and I think Earth Friendly cleans pretty well. No films, residues, or water spots. I'm satisfied to continue purchasing this product.

- Brandi

Works well. Noticed dishes aren't as streaky or have what looks like a film on them. Also plastic containers don't smell so chemically.

- Dave

Good Product

Cleans well and uses less per wash than conventional liquid dishwasher gel. I suspect it is better for our septic system than the harsh chemicals in regular dishwashing gels, too. I wish it came in a larger size, though.

- PNWLizzy

Very disappointing

Left food and film on the dishes and silverware. There was milk residue in my glass measuring cup after I had rinsed it out before washing. My olive oil jar still had an oily film inside. My ramekins had residue around the rims. I left everything in the dishwasher and rewashed using an ecover tablet. Everything came out spotless. I literally have to hand wash every dish and piece of silverware before putting it in the dishwasher. I've never had this problem before. I can't recommend this product.

Soothing Scented Dishwasher Detergent

Not only does this product work well, it smells great. Lavender is a calming scent and when the dishwasher is running, the entire bottom floor of our house is filled with this soothing scent. Still need to pre-rinse dishes fairly well, but that's typical of most dishwashing detergents.

Wonderful Dishwasher Natural Soap

Earth Friendly Products Lavender Auto Dishwasher Gel is the best natural dish washing product we've tried. The fact it is biodegradable is a great plus. My family and I try to purchase and use only natural, organic, and Earth friendly products. Thrive Market provides a great price on this and many, many items. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Great product

I like this product. Always used cascade but this is better. Yes, I have to put my dishes into the washer much cleaner then I did with cascade but.....this product is cleaning up what ever residue cascade left in my dishwasher and its cleaning the dishes.

- Nancy

Doesn't Clean Anything

Highly ineffective, no idea where good reviews for this product come from. Thought it was the dishwasher but switched back to the old detergent and nope, it's definitely this product. Also left a nasty film that takes forever to get off scrubbing my glassware by hand.

- Ashley

Works Well

I have been using this detergent for quite a while now, and find it does a pretty good job at cleaning the dishes. To be fair, we do pre-rinse well, but my glasses are never cloudy, though the occasional bit of food we miss does get stuck on.

- Jenn T.

Works better than I expected! Also no more calcium buildup in my dishwasher since using this soap.
