Why You’ll Love It

This fragrant, exotic, gluten-free meal starter features tasty Albacore caught off the Oregon Coast, freshly poached in coconut milk. Hints of zesty lemongrass and lime, blended with basil and red and yellow sweet peppers, makes for a balanced sauce, in harmony with the (wild caught and sustainably farmed in America) tuna. This chef-inspired dish pays homage to Thai cuisine, known for exquisitely balancing the five flavors: spicy, salty, sweet, sour, and bitter. Thai cooking is also known for combining ingredients in ways that surprise and delight–and when paired with the mild flavor of Albacore tuna, the combination is irresistible.

Reviews For Albacore Tuna in Thai Coconut Lemongrass

Based on 12 Reviews

Delicate & delicious

Unusual flavor, the lemongrass/coconut mix. I served it over steamed chopped broccoli, fabulous! This will be an ongoing staple for me.

- Linda

I enjoyed this as a soup for lunch at work. The flavor is quite good - not too spicy, but with a nice hint of heat. My package contained several fairly large chunks of tuna, which were very tasty. The only thing I have to quibble about is that it's a fairly small serving, and I could have gone out to eat and paid the same for a larger bowl of soup, so I don't find that it's a particularly good *value*... but I would likely purchase it again.

Second of Three ... SUCCESS!!!

This is the second of three that I purchased and I have not been disappointed yet!

- Cynthia

Great for

A quick lunch or dinner. I serve it over a bed of angel hair pasta or shirataki noodles.

Mildly Spicy Tuna Coconut Curry

I had it over rice for lunch the other day and it kept me full until dinner. It's a very tuna flavored without having a lot of tuna bits. I'm not the biggest fan of tuna so I'm curious to try the non-tuna flavors.

So Good

My daughter ate a package of this then looked immediately at me and said, 'buy more, lots more'. Perfect for easy meals and after school snacks. So much quality in a pouch!

Nice change

I was not sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. Honestly I think the packets could add more tuna, but it was tasty. Served it over Udon noodles. I would buy it again!

- Cynthia

I read the reviews and saw there wasn't a lot of tuna included, but there was more than I expected and the flavor was really good. I really like this with rice.

- Norma

Pretty good

This entree is pretty good-I do wish it had more tuna, but the flavor was good. I think it would be really good on a salad, think I will try that next.

- Betsy

It wasn't zesty or robust…just kind of plain with about 2 TB of tuna

Albacore Tuna in Thai Coconut Lemongrass sauce

Very good. Not spicy. Next time I may add crushed red chili peppers.

Tuna in Thai coconut

Tuna is in good chunks, though rather small amount. Sauce is very thin. Taste is fair to good.
