Reviews For Organic Tomato Paste, 2-Pack

Nice to have
As a long time diabetic, I have cut most of the tomato based foods from my diet due to their sweetness.
I purchased this tomato paste to mix into a soup. It was very tasty when combined with my other ingredients, but very sweet on its own. I won't have much use for this as I rarely eat anything with tomatoes but for this time, it was satisfying.

Great for Cheese Bread Dipping Sauce
We use this for cheese bread dipping sauce. We use this sauce (plus some oregano) because of the simplicity and add a little hot sauce every so often. It is great that it is organic and from a great company.
Be aware that this has oils in it that come from corn. If you are allergic to corn, this is not the sauce for you. My family will continue to use and and enjoy the flavor. Maybe they should included that in the ingredients list.

Muir Glen is the best!
I personally buy my tomato products exclusively from Muir Glen. They allow their tomatoes to fully ripen on the vine which maximizes their flavor and nutritional potential. They also do not use any fertilizers or artificial ingredients so they are pure, organic tomatoes.
The consistency and flavor of this paste makes it easily the best tomato paste I've ever tried. I like to keep a few stocked in the pantry at all times.

I use this as a base for many of my dishes. It's a tad bit sweet on its own, but excellent in any dish asking of tomatoes.
A solid tomato paste...
This an old standby - it tastes great and it's organic. It makes a lovely tomato sauce when added to fresh tomatoes, etc.
