About This Brand

You see the term “natural” in plenty of places these days, but Nature’s Gate’s products give the term a whole new meaning. Founders Leo and Vladimir turned their vision for this unique company into reality when they hand-collected rainwater, blended it with natural herbs from their herb shop, and created the very first Rainwater Herbal Shampoo approximately 40 years ago. They gave it away to their friends and customers of their store, and soon it became a hit along Venice Beach, California, one day becoming Nature’s Gate. Nature’s Gate intends to combine the power of natural ingredients with innovation and science to create affordable, safe, sustainable, and high quality products. The company is committed to using pure, sustainably harvested herbs, fruits and essential oils—without animal testing or animal-derived ingredients—making all of Nature’s Gate products cruelty free and vegan. Good value; clean list of ingredients

I like the product, but with thin, fine hair, I cannot possibly use it without conditioner. Next time, I will purchase that, too.

Moisturizing Shampoo

I like this shampoo and feel like it does a good job of moisturizing.

Working nicely

I purchased this shampoo along with the conditioner... So far the best investment. Washed my hair full of dandruff and this morning all the dandruff is gone and my hair isn't as frizzy as it usually is. The smell is definitely noticeable but I don't mind smells. To me it has a medicine sort of scent. Amazing product overall. I hope to stay dandruff free.

Soft Manageable Hair

This shampoo smells good and leaves my hair soft and manageable. My hair is stronger than ever.

Healthy Hair

This shampoo has done wonders for my hair and scalp. I'm dandruff free and my hair is soft and manageable. It looks shiny and strong. This shampoo also has a pretty nice smell.

Keeps My Hair Clean

This has been a fantastic shampoo that I'm really impressed by. One of the things that stands out the most is the fact that it seems to have a very intense thickness. It doesn't have a thin, runny consistency that makes it hard to apply. Instead, it stays exactly where I pour it. Because it's sulfate-free, it doesn't really lather up too much though. It's done a great job of keeping my hair moisturized and clean without drying it out. I'll admit that I really like it.

Highly recommended product!

This conditioner smells really nice and it makes my hair soft and moisturized. I love its thick and creamy consistency too. Highly recommended product! I got mine at a lower price in Thrive.
